This property is as advertised - comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood with almost immediate beach access. The house has modern upgrades, comfortable beds, and a very well-stocked kitchen including utensils, coffee options, and a good variety of cooking staples and household supplies (spare light bulbs, switch blocks, etc). Bathrooms were clean; good plumbing and soap/shampoo dispensers in both showers. We had no issues with the door locks, wifi, dishwasher/washing machine, gas grill, or other amenities. Location-wise you can't ask for much better on the northern side of Virginia Beach - 5 minutes to First Landing State Park, 20 to the oceanfront, and near-instant walking access to a great stretch of beach where you can walk for a solid hour plus in either direction. We stayed with dogs and the property is well-suited for them, but be aware that the yard is fenced along the back and sides of the house but not gated, so you won't want to let pups run free in the backyard unless they have excellent recall. The street isn't busy; you can hear a bit of traffic from Shore Drive in the front room sitting area, but the bedroom was perfectly quiet all night. The only thing I might suggest is more silverware - we ran out of forks after a couple of meals. We stayed over Christmas and the house was tastefully decorated including a lit tree, which was a wonderful backdrop to our family Christmas dinner. Thank you for a great stay!
