This hotel does not have a microwave in the room. I was informed by the front desk that microwaves are only taken to rooms if approved by management. I have never stayed in a hotel room without a microwave, ever.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was okay, had to wait a bit for eggs as they were cooking them. Only complaint was people talking loudly in the hall was very early in the morning. Was hoping to sleep in since we drove a long way and wanted to relax before heading to our next location. Pillows weren't very fluffy but other than that it was an okay stay.

Greeted by a drunk guest as soon as I walked in

When I entered the hotel to check in, I was greeted by a drunk guest with a half empty box of Coors Banquet beer who locked himself out of his room. He 'talked' to me while he was waiting to talk to the front desk. Once he was helped by the front desk, he turned around looked at me and said, "You look like a (insert homosexual slur).” Not sure what I expected from the lady at the front desk but there was no acknowledgment of this interaction. This was not a great way to start my stay here and I did not feel great about staying here. So, I checked in and checked out as soon as I woke up the next morning. I don't plan on staying here again.

I travel from Dallas every Wed morning and had requested to try to stay in Room 224 because it has no adjourning door ~ I understand someone may have received the day before, etc. but isn't there a way as I thought the lady made a note for me to receive that room ~ and if unable to get ~ why can't I have a different room w/no adjourning door? It makes me nervous because the other room really jiggle the handle and I have to put chair & phone on that door to hear if someone is coming in as I sleep
