Waikoloa Beach Stay

This was in a fantastic location. Few mins from a public beach, not too far of a drive to Kona/airport, good restaurants. The host provided beach gear (snorkel equipment, umbrella, beach chairs, towels, cooler/ice packs, pool noodles, etc). We also had access to the community pool/spa. The patio was an added bonus, backs up to the golf course, which you get a discount at. We really enjoyed our stay. Really the only downside was the amount of “chores” we had to do when leaving. We completely understand the short turnover, and do not mind doing trash/dishes. However, the host required to have “all towels clean and dry” as well as starting a load before leaving in addition to stripping linens. The tasks are not individually hard, but become burdensome as they add up. Would caution those who wish to have a true “vacation” from choosing this property if you don’t wish to spend 2ish hours on the departure day doing chores.
