I loved this hotel and their staff. The hotel is fully amenitized for both shorts and long term stay. It was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Not to mention it was centrally located. 7-10 minutes walking from the convention center with a lot of food options within walking distance. Also close to the train station. Would highly recommend.

Free buffet breakfast was a nice way to start the day. Front desk was friendly, check in was easy. Close to the metro, or walk to the National Mall (1.2 miles). Grocery store a block away. Room was nice, good size, city view (we were on the 9th floor), comfortable bed.

Good amenities, kitchenette in rooms, very nice bar restaurant lobby and atmosphere ie: green space walkable garden leading out from restaurant. A more substantial gym and a pool would make this excellent. Also WiFi was a bit weak.

This was a great hotel for a full 1-week stay, but it definitely had some quirks. We had a king bed with sofa bed and a kitchenette. We had a keurig coffee maker, a toaster, a 2-burner cooktop, a dishwasher and a bar-sized refrigerator/freezer. Dishes, glasses, cups, utensils, and cookware are also included. There’s an armoire, but very limited space to hang longer items like dresses and coats. There was a dresser that seemed to have 3 drawers; the one in the middle was usable, the other two had the handles removed and were fastened shut. Weird. We were provided with 1 packet of dish washer soap. And no more. We got 2 each keurig coffee pods, decaf and tea. And no more. We asked for more. Couldn’t get more, so we bought our own at the supermarket next door. We had plenty of towels most of the time. One time they took our used towels even though we hung them up, but didn’t leave freshies. We called for some and they were promptly delivered tho. Another time, they refolded and rehung our wet towels. So, quirky, but nothing was anywhere near a dealbreaker. Staff was friendly and helpful and sometimes as confused about the quirks as we were. Would definitely stay there again.

The only complaint I have is about the breakfast. There was no choice of meats; they only served Canadian bacon, which is pork. It would be great if they had a variety of meats available, including options for those who don’t consume pork products.

The housekeeper entered our room uninvited put in a code and indicated no service because we were not gone when she arrived to clean the room. We called for assist and the manger arrived apologized said she was new; however when we came back to our room it was not clean although she came to our several times after talking with the manager. It was terrible- the hotel and room was so nice- but this really impacted our experience

The staff was excellent, but they had to switch my room twice. Turns out they had not finished replacing the old AC units, and the first two rooms' AC sounded like a jet whining - much louder than my voice. The third room was perfect. I arrived on Friday night. Parking took half an hour to wait for a valet because they only had one person available, and four other people were ahead of me. Saturday morning car retrieval was OK. I had the chicken sandwich for dinner. It must be grilled ahead of time, refrigerated, then warmed up, because it came out really fast with half of the sandwich fine while the other half was very cold. Since it was cut in half, the server must have forgotten to warm half. I don't expect a warmed-up sandwich at the Hyatt.

This hotel was great. My only complaints would be that the WiFi & cell phone service was not great, so when trying to plan what to do the next day, it was a bit annoying; and their hotel restaurant food wasn’t the best. Otherwise it was very clean, staff was friendly, its in a safe area nearby everything.
