Worth it

The hotel is nice and in a walkable area. Our room was mostly clean, some coffee stains left for us to wipe up. The mini fridge didn’t get that cold, so we had to store breast milk in our travel cooler with ice. & the staff weren’t the friendliest I’ve met and seemed like they had better things to give their attention to. The room overall was spacious for myself, my husband and our baby. The bed was super comfortable. & it was very peaceful

This place sucked

Hotel smells like a dirty sauna. Our room was dirty and the people at the front desk were terrible. Also go charged for valet multiple times even tho we only parked the car once.

Had a bad experience at the front desk reception, assumed i was checking in earlier when i arrived late and was a bit tired. Not a great way to great a person. It wasn't a welcoming feeling. The pool had so much chlorine that it was very uncomfortable in that space even next to the gym you could smell the chlorine so felt very unhealthy. The kids could only play so long in the pool and they had to leave because their eyes were burning. The gym is adjacent to the pool, but the smell in the gym was very overwhelming with chlorine as a swimmer. I think they should look into the level of the chlorine.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a free decent breakfast in the morning. Tatte bakery down the block was also very good. Museums a 35 to 45 minute walk although it took us a little less time.

Good Stay

We liked the indoor pool, but the water was so cold! Location was decent. Loved that we could access the rooftop on a nice afternoon. Valet parking is expensive, but that seems to be the going rate at all the hotels. We would stay again.

Great stay for a bigger family

Our family of five had a great stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is safe and about a mile walk to the National Mall. We loved the breakfast every morning… there were lots of fresh options and the entree changed each morning. If you’re a Hyatt member they comp the price, but even at $11 per person it’s a great deal for DC where everything is expensive. Our only complaint was that the pool was freezing cold, but the kids swam anyway!
