Terribly overpriced!

Good location but very overpriced, condition of hotel was poor, very worn, despite advertising a pool the pool hadn’t been open in two years, staff were less than welcoming, definitely would not return. An extremely poor value!

Hey Expedia team I would like to share my concerns about my recent stay. Unfortunately, several issues made the experience disappointing: • Your website was not updated regarding the pool closure. We booked assuming it was open, but upon arrival, we discovered it was closed. • We could not check in until 6:00 PM, which was very inconvenient. • After check-in, the coffee machine was not working, and the Wi-Fi was also unavailable. • I even received an email stating the pool would be fixed earlier in August, but it was still not resolved during our stay. Overall, this was not the level of customer service we expected. I kindly ask that you address these issues and consider some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Sincerely, Poorya

My stay at Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort was pleasant overall. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean, which made for a cozy experience. The lodge itself is a bit dated, but this adds to its unique charm and character. The only downside was the power outages, which occurred about every 30 minutes until around 9 PM before stabilizing. This wasn’t the lodge’s fault, as it seemed to be an issue with the town’s power grid struggling to meet demand. I’d recommend the lodge for its comfort and charm, but be prepared for potential power hiccups. ---

Canyon falls. About a 10 min walk from the lodge.

Clean, but Very Rundown

Hotel inside and out is in need of remodel and maintenance. Fortunately, workers are doing a nice job keeping rooms clean, eventhough the entire place is deteriorating.

The front desk workers were not very good. She was much more concerned with whoever was on the phone then she was at anybody standing in front of her. They were out of cups by the water and we were told it could be well after four before we could check in. Our room was fine but when our friends checked into their room someone else’s stuff was already in it. This was after we were given the line of we can’t tell you what room where you’re in because we value your privacy and security.

The property was as expected. Middle of the road , nothing fancy, not a dive bar. Check in and check out was pretty easy and the ladies at the front desk were super. Location is excellent, and there is a playground / splash park / right there across from the check in and the restaurant. Great for families with small children. Rooms were cozy and clean. We were up on the second floor and had a small balcony to relax on. All in all a pretty good room in Waterton. Paid around $300 all in ,which i thought was pretty pricey for what it was, but it was in the first week of August during prime time summer season. The pool and hot tub were closed when we were there ( was supposed to be open late July)_, which was another kick in the pants for everyone there. 6.5 outta 10.
