We stayed almost a week visiting our son. Everything was very nice. Our room was really nice and the bed was comfortable. Everyone was very friendly, especially the lady at the front desk that worked during the day.

Overall it could have been better. Upon arrival and checking in to our 1st room we were put in a room that had been broken into. Clearly, we could see this as I could probably insert my whole hand into the hole of the door. They were able to put us into a new room instantly, but only to find out we didn’t have hot water so we didn’t even really get to shower that night. Mind you it was 30° outside and we had been in it all day playing baseball. We didn’t even get hot water until the following day about 4 PM. Again it could have been better.

Too much road noise 🙉

It's too close to the expressway. Nothing but loud road noise all night long. Faucet/shower only half worked, half the water went out the faucet the other half through the shower head so tub filled with water and had little water pressure.

Ok stay

The room was spacious but the furniture was worn and could use replacing. The cable was out the second day of our trip and there were no an smart TV's as alternative. Pest control needs to spray, saw small roaches more than once.

We stayed at Comfort Suites in Ennis Nov 14-17. The place was okay, nothing to recommend. We had an event near by so it was just sleeping and leaving early in the morning. First day in we get our rooms and walk in to see a bug crawling by the sink. Mentioned it to the staff and they said yes, they have had a problem in the past and there is still some left. We found that to be unacceptable. We needed an extra night on the night of the 17th and asked them to help us with the cost as there was a bug in the room and they denied. We ended up in another hotel which was half the cost and a lot nicer. The manger would not help us with the cost or any sort of compensation.

The air was thick with mildew and cigarettes. We had to buy air freshener to make it manageable. The rooms are large but super run down. We stayed in a handicapped room on the first floor where the bathroom floor is an absolute hazard to an able bodied person and an absolute risk for the handicap. The floor is uneven, can't keep the water in the bathroom when you run the shower, even a quick shower. The tile was visibly installed very terribly. You can see where each sheet of tile is in the floor. The carpet remained soaked regardless of attempts to dry the carpet and make barriers with towels to keep the water in the bathroom. Both my husband and I got stabbed in the feet from the carpet tacking by the bathroom door just walking in there and also when trying to dry the carpet. The mattresses were horrid. Super bouncy bed and an outlet right behind the frame with the lights for the bed plugged into it. Because it is right behind the bed and the plug is smashed between the bed and wall so every tiny motion on the bed makes the lights go out. Yes, we tried pulling the bed away from it. It's a huge fire hazard. Additionally the desk chair in the room has all the fake leather peeling off and looks absolutely horrendous like it was pulled out of someone's trash. Please remodel, install showers that don't contribute to your growing mildew issue, maybe some dehumidifiers, get some new beds and furniture....or just burn it down and start over...if it will even light. Probably too da
