Summary:

Salmon Creek Cabin is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still close to all of the amenities the Mount Hood area has to offer. Golf, Skiing, hiking, rafting, fishing all with in 15-min from the home. Many local family eateries just a short drive away. SkiBowl is great all year long. The home has a open floorplan with vaulted ceiling. Enjoy the covered patio for BBQ dinner next to the bubbling brook just out back. No TV is provided, but we have great Wi-Fi for streaming your devices.



The Space:

Salmon Creek Cabin is a 1960's cabin with lots of modern updates. The great room has large windows and a beautiful view of nature. The thoughtful placement of furniture gives everyone in your group a place to enjoy their favorite activities. A large dining table for family meals. The breakfast nook off the kitchen is a great place to socialize and cook at the same time. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes silverware, pots and pans. It has a large fridge, wine/beer cooler and dishwasher. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. Each bedroom has phone charging pads built in to the bedside lamps. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The large garage is available to park inside, if needed, and still has room to store your outdoor gear. The home is heated and cooled with a heat pump and mini splits.



Guest Access:

The entire home is for your use. There is plenty of parking on a level lot. Enough for 4-5 cars



The Neighborhood:

Tucked away off the main road in a quiet neighborhood. The road into the neighborhood can be bumpy so drive slowly.



Getting Around:

A car with clearance is recommended, especially when there is snow. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. No public transportation runs down this street and there are no taxis in the area. However, the Mtn. Express runs up and down HWY 26 so you could bike from the Thriftway to this home if you wanted.



Other Things to Note:

- No TV is provided, but we have great Wi-Fi for streaming your devices.

- Inside fireplace is Electric and usable.

- Exterior fireplace is not usable.

Perfect home on Mount Hood for our family gathering! Kid friendly and all the amenities you could need to cook family dinners. We were able to get to Timberline for skiing and snowboarding within 25 minutes. Each bedroom is very large and accommodating for luggage. The beds were very comfortable. 3 different tables can be used for dining seating. We will definitely be back for more snow and will look for availability to stay again!

Outstanding!

Very cool and roomy home with all the little touches that make thing easy and comfortable. Nice beds, well stocked kitchen, great location near the river and easy access to the mountain. The host is super responsive and helpful.

Beauty and Charm in this Cozy Mountain Home

The architecture of the vaulted ceilings and large windows allowed us to enjoy the view no matter what the weather. This cozy mountain home was a great place for our two families to gather for the weekend. We've been doing this yearly for the last 18 years and this home is one of our favorites! We would love to return again!

Wonderful Home

We enjoyed our stay. Checking in and out was easy, the house was very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need. The house was clean, but there were some dusty cobwebs in the breakfast nook and bathrooms that were low enough we had to knock them back to not walk through them, but everything else was perfectly clean. I'm recovering from a major leg surgery, the walk in shower was easily accessible and it was easy to get around downstairs. The only issue with the neighborhood is the gravel road, the pot holes are brutal. We'd absolutely stay again!

Amazing place!!

It's a great place,stayed there with my family for christmas and it was fun,it as everything you need,kitchen fully equipted,bathroom and with all you need,board games pass the time,clean & comfy place, big and a lot of space,the only thing I didn't like it was the fire place,it's electric and i wish there where able to had christmas decorations,but other then that,i loved it!!oh and the check in and check out was easy,great comunication,Joe Topich was really helpul!

The floor plan was excellent for our family. The house was very clean and updated, with classic 70's touches left intact. The outside deck and table could have been cleaner as the table was completely rusted on top and unusable. The property manager was very attentive to our questions.

Cozy Retro Cabin

The cabin is lovely! We loved the retro vibe and decor. There are numerous tables for family games and there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. Communication with Celeste was a breeze. We’ll definitely be back!

Retro Retreat

For those looking to reconnect without the distraction of all those electronics this is a great option. There is no TV but there is WiFi if you absolutely need to be "connected". The nostalgia of the cabin makes you want to disconnect though, so that's exactly what we did! Board games, record players, hot cocoa, and fuzzy slippers... the perfect way to reset!

Perfect stay!

Great cabin! Good location tucked away but close to some shops for anything you may need. Very clean. Everything new. Awesome retro feel with excellent updates. The multiple dimmers, Wi-Fi, wireless charging, new appliances, and sonos speakers were a great touch! Would stay again. Highly recommend.
