Place was great to sleep! Pool was clean. Room was clean. Grill area was nice and plenty of outside shade and sitting areas. We will stay here again. Housekeeper was really nice and was busy making sure everything was tidy.

The best part about the facility was out cleaning lady Christina. Our room was extremely outdated, mattresses were old coil spring, AC wouldn't cool roon down, no accessible outlets for phone charger, floor was dirty, owner who checked us in was less then interested in our stay and concerns in regards to the room. Had booked 3 nights based on reviews and photos from Travelocity, far from resemblance. The per night cost doubled from Thursday to Saturday.

We stayed here over the weekend, and overall the experience was just okay. The motel is small and very outdated. While the room was clean, the furnishings and bed felt old, and the mattress was pretty uncomfortable—I didn’t sleep well at all. What disappointed me most was being charged an additional $30 for my kids. I had booked a room with two double beds, but was told it was considered a “two-person” room, which didn’t make much sense. For the price, I expected a better experience.

Nice being close to Bull n claw and maine diner and Big Daddy’s ice cream shop. Bed not comfortable asked for extra pillows never got them until went back to office to ask next morning. Internet access was fine.

Great place for families! We enjoyed it so much we added another night to our stay. Safe quiet area. Only a mile and a half from the beach, close to lots to see and do on the Maine coast. Helpful staff. The pool was great and open late to enjoy a night swim after a day in the sun. Convenient parking, clean rooms, smaller but cozy. There is a train nearby but with our sound machine and the ac running we weren't bothered by it at night. We would stay here again.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the refrigerator kept everything cold. The bathroom needs an upgrade, with an unstable toilet and an old mirror. We were only there for one night, so it suited our needs.

The Tallwood is a convenient motor lodge near all the beaches and amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Mattresses could be upgraded, but we recognize this is a motor lodge. Area around the property could use a little TLC, but overall was a good stay.
