Quiet. That is the number one thing we came for, and we got that, here. Just a short distance from town, main highway and all, but sitting outside of this cottage, all one hears is.... Nature. Love it!This place was very charming with a lot of character. It's a very old house at its core - 1890's ish, I think. And with that, you are going to have old-house traits: Creaky, uneven floors, low ceilings (I'm 6'1", and had to be just a little careful in some doorways. Never had to duck, tho!).... No worries, there are newer floors, newer carpet, newer paint. The heater works great! The kitchen is fully equipped. Good wifi, and it reaches outside. The whole place was clean.Pro's:QuietConvenient to WellsboroCleanFully equipped kitchenComfortable indoor seatingFirepit/outdoor areaComfortable bedCreek alongside the property (although with the drought conditions this year, it was barely a trickle)Owner is reachable and very responsiveCons:There is a big streetlight just outside, off the property - if you are a dark skies person, that kinda kills that.

This was the perfect place to stay. The house is adorable with everything you need, a home away from home. Close to town but secluded so you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We all loved it and even our dog was content. She loved watching the deer.

We enjoyed our stay at your clean and cozy cottage. It was well furnished and everything needed was provided.The only issue we had was with tiny ants crawling on the kitchen counter and bathroom sink.

Was a very clean quaint cottage. Close to the cute little town of Wellsboro. Enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night after hiking at Colton point and Lenard state Park. We enjoyed our stay.

Charming and Peaceful

We were very satisfied with this cottage. It does have the quirks of an old house, as mentioned in the listing/reviews, the floors are a bit slanted and some of the ceilings a bit low, but neither of those things detracted from our enjoyment of the house. The kitchen, living room and bathroom are spacious and open. Kitchen windows offered a nice view, and the couch was super comfortable. If you’ve stayed at a house with a bad couch you’ll know it matters! Host provided basic necessities as specified, and we had no issues. Enjoyed the proximity to Wellsboro while having a private place.

Dragonfly Cottage was the perfect spot for our Christmas getaway. If you’re over 6’5” this May not be the place for you given some of the low ceilings. The cottage was charming and I would stay again.

We had a very nice stay. The only drawback was the smell of sulfur in the water. The owner supplies a water cooler with good drinking water, though. Clean, quaint, comfortable, historic, and well stocked.

Very nice cottage and location

Our stay was spectacular, the cottage is very cute, clean, convenient location and close to the town shops, grocery and restaurants in Wellsboro. A short drive to Colton Point to see the Grand Canyon of PA. Firefly cottage has all the amenities you need, from kitchen supplies to fresh drinking water and convenience items, towels, linens, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The fire pit was nice to sit by day or night, along with star gazing at night.
