Papaya-huvila sijaitsee Long Bayn yläpuolella sijaitsevilla kukkuloilla Tortolan länsipäässä, josta on upeat merinäkymät kohti Jost Van Dykeä, Sandy Cayä ja USVI: tä.

Kiinteistön ytimessä on suuri talo, jossa on suuri asuintila, ruokailu- / oleskelutilat sisä- ja ulkotiloissa, gourmet-keittiö kaikilla mukavuuksilla, joita voit odottaa sisältäen 6-polttisen viikingitason, astianpesukoneen, lämmitävän laatikon ja nolla-jääkaapin. Ruokaa voi nauttia muodollisessa ruokasalissa tai ruokailutilan ulkopuolella, josta on näköala äärettömään reuna-altaalle. Vine mökki, on iso isäntäsviitti, jossa on king-size-neljä pylvässänkyä, josta on näkymät merelle ja Jost van-padolle. Kylpyhuoneessa on sekä sisä- että ulkokäyttöön tarkoitettu suihkukaappi, keittokomero ja oma veranta, josta on näkymä Jost Van Dykelle.

Kaksi isoa makuuhuonetta sijaitsevat kartanon ytimessä. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on neljä julistetta king-size-vuodetta ulkosuihkulla, toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kätevästi kaksi erillistä vuodetta tai king-size-vuode sisäuihkulla. Nämä makuuhuoneet molemmat avautuvat kuistilla, josta on näkymät uima-altaalle ja merinäköalalla.

Kiinteistön maisemoidun pihan vieressä sijaitsevassa 4. makuuhuoneessa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta, oma kylpyhuone, jossa on sadesuihku ja minikeittiö, jossa jääkaappi ja kahvinkeitin. Kaikki makuuhuoneet voidaan joko avata merituulen nauttimiseksi, mutta niissä on myös liukuvat näytöt ja ilmastointi niille tärkeille jäähtymisaikoille Karibian auringon nauttimisen jälkeen.

Kiinteistön kaikista osista on upeat merinäkymät ja yli hehtaarin maisemoitu puutarha on täynnä värikkäitä ja tuoksuvia Karibian kasveja. Älä ole yllättynyt, kun näet kotoperäiset kolibrit nauttivan heidän suositusta sähinkäisestä. Lapsille on paljon paikkoja tutustua sekä omaisuuteen, mukaan lukien "linna pitää" -aluetta, ja Long Bayn ympärillä. We had the most wonderful vacation at Papaya Villa in Tortola. The house exceeded all of our expectations! The views were spectacular and Sam and JC were very gracious and attentive hosts. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to come back to Tortola.

Paradise at Papaya

Papaya Villa was a dream to stay at. The views were incredible. The property was beautiful. Great location with many restaurant options at the bottom of the hill or a very short drive. Short drive to Smugglers Cove, our favorite beach on the island. We did a boat day and took the ferry to Virgin Gorda one day and Jost another day. Great family vacation!!

Great Stay

Beautiful house and location. The property management company did a great job welcoming us and dropping by a food order. There are a ton of roosters on the island and several around the house that woke us up at 5:00 AM every morning. Unless you are a very heavy sleeper, I recommend taking ear plugs. Other reviewers mentioned the importance of a 4x4 if you are renting a car and I would reemphasize that as the terrain is very steep.

Wonderful Villa

Paradise!

What a wonderful place to experience Tortola. Watching the sunset was an amazing way to start each evening followed by incredible food. The staff was so friendly and welcoming – there to assist in making each day perfect. The property is beautifully groomed right down to the lime trees. The bedrooms rooms were very comfortable and cozy. The sound of the ocean was so relaxing as you slept each night followed by your first cup of coffee on the balcony ~ truly a daily reminder you were in paradise. It’s a great place to just chill or explore the beaches and other islands of the BVI. The accommodations were spectacular …far exceeding expectations. I would highly recommend the Sunset House for a perfect vacation. Can’t wait to return!

Sensational Experience

Four couples enjoyed this remarkable property for a week in early January. What a great retreat - the accommodations included everything we could have anticipated needing. Particularly impressive was the pool and the very comfortable common space - most of the time we just hung out together there. The vistas were remarkable, and we were close to many entertainment opportunities - restaurants, bars, and beaches. Best experience: we bought huge spiny lobsters right off the boat and cooked them on the grill. Charlene and Sam were more than helpful

Perfect vacation!

We spent 18 months preparing for a perfect vacation for our adult family. We wanted time together full of great views, divine beaches, snorkeling, hanging out. We chose Tortola for our jumping off place. This villa was perfection. Sam and Sharlene answered every question in advance. The layout was just right for three couples, plenty of privacy, great family sized areas to eat inside or outside, well equipped kitchen! . Comfortable furniture, unimaginable views from the unforgettable infinity pool. If you want to experience "l'heure bleue", just relax on the patio at dusk! We recommend renting a jeep, although we also had an AWD Kia. We cooked almost every night because we had plenty of space for 3 couples to work together, laughing and sharing. I would return yearly! Before our arrival, we received reminder emails and offers of help with various needs! We had one need which was quickly attended to by Sharlene. Thanks for helping us fulfill our dream vacation!

Idyllic home away

We stayed at Papaya Villa with friends and found it to be all we thought it would. We have been cruising the islands for the last five years and thought we would try being land based for a change. It turned out to be a great decision, and this villa is the reason why. As far as amenities go, it has them all. The pool provides cool refreshing views of Jost and the coastline up to Cane Garden. The rooms are all well appointed and the kitchen made for putting together some fantastic meals. Proximity to the beach is so close, and the snorkeling at Smugglers Cove is fantastic. Do look up our good friend Nigel at Smugglers as he makes great drinks as well as a shrimp, beans, and rice plate that hits the spot! Rentals can be arranged easily through Sam (our vehicles were waiting for us and the process was seamless) and J.C. was on the spot with any assistance we needed. We could have easily stayed another week and probably will the next time!

Fabulous vacation

Papaya Villa is truly brilliant! We stayed a week (wish it was longer) at Papaya. 3 adults 4 children ages 12-16 and had a spectacular time. The weather was only ok but it did not matter. Our time at the house (and our trip to the Baths/Cooper Island) was the highlight of our trip. Sharlene took great care of us and I highly recommend their suggested chef who delivered a plate of fresh fruit and banana bread every other day. The villa has everything you could possibly need and then some. We will be going back.

Awesome!

We arrived for our two week vacation expecting a wonderful time, but curious if the villa actually would live up to all the accolades given to it. The house exceeded our expectations. The house was neat and very clean! Everything we could have needed was supplied. The kitchen was a gourmet cook's delight. The views are awesome! The management team helped us with rental cars and boat rentals. The maintenance people were great. We had a problem with the pool one day and JC was at the house within 30 minutes to assess the problem. The pool man fixed the problem the next morning. We enjoyed our two weeks and are planning a return visit. It was the most relaxing vacation ever!

Papaya Villa Vacation

We had the opportunity to stay in the Papaya Villa the first week of March 2016. We had the best vacation with another family plus 4 kids from 14-16! The kids are still talking about returning the the island and specifically the house. The views are second to none and the Management team was there if we needed anything from suggestions for boat rentals to ensureing we have everything we needed in the house ahead of time. Sam and JC who look after the property were very helpful, both before our arrival and when we were there. They ensured that the provisions we ordered and our hire car were waiting for us on our arrival and that we were met at the airport. I think the West End and round to the north coast from Long Bay to Cane Garden Bay is the preferred area to stay on Tortola with a nice undeveloped Caribbean feel and plenty of beaches and good restaurants. There is a return trip in our future!

Our vacation at Papaya

We have just returned from a week at Papaya Villa with my wife and two children (15 and 17) and two of their school friends. We had a great time and absolutely loved the house. The pictures on the website are good, but it is even better than the photos. The 180 degree views of the islands and the ocean are amazing and seen from the three double bedrooms which we used - so no fights over who went where! There is everything you need here, with space for family members to spread out. On the cooking/entertainment front, the house is ideal as it opens up to the outside to maximise the views and the breeze. The kitchen is very well equipped with US appliances and no shortage of plates, glasses, utensils etc. I have visited Tortola five times before on business and stayed in numerous hotels. Papaya is better than all of them. We will certainly return. The combination of space, privacy, the view and quality of furnishings makes this a highly enjoyable place to stay. We thoroughly recommend it. Sam and JC who look after the property were very helpful, both before our arrival and when we were there. They ensured that the provisions we ordered and our hire car were waiting for us on our arrival and that we were met at the airport. I think the West End and round to the north coast from Long Bay to Cane Garden Bay is the preferred area to stay on Tortola with a nice undeveloped Caribbean feel and plenty of beaches and good restaurants: Fish n Lime, Frenchmans, Sugar Mill, Myetts and D'Coalpot being particularly recommended. As you can see, we like this place - both Papaya and Tortola. Many a happy hour was spent floating in the infinity pool and admiring the view. You will not be disappointed here.

Perfect Home for BVI Vacation

This was our first trip to the BVI, and we could not have chosen a more perfect home for our vacation. Papaya Villa is an amazing home with views that are indescribably beautiful. My wife and I took our three children and, despite the incredible offerings of the BVI, it took a lot of convincing to get them to leave the house and explore the islands. The set up of the home is perfect, with a wonderful pool and very spacious outdoor area for cooking, swimming and just laying around. The kitchen is very nice, the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable and the landscaping adds a warm touch. The location of this house is great, secluded and while you really feel like you're the only one around within miles, it is a short drive to just about anywhere, beaches, restaurants, etc. The home is very well maintained and clean. The property manager goes above and beyond to help the guests. I could not recommend this home highly enough, and if we return to the BVI, I would not even look for another home in which to stay. It provided a wonderful vacation which my family will always remember.

Spectacular view, high end decor. The villas are tucked away from the road with space galore, large gathering area, or private nooks to nap, relax, read. Space between villas is like having your own apartment especially with the refrigerator and wet bar. The outdoor shower is so amazing. Plenty of sun, plenty of shade, ocean breezes. The infinity pool makes you feel like you are floating in the air. Extremely clean and comfortable property, impeccably maintained. The tropical landscaping around the property is lush with some gorgeous flowering plants. We had the best time. I recommend this property without reservation. You will not be disappointed.

Tortola's Best

Our family has stayed here twice in the last 3 years.We felt this property has everything one could want while enjoying this beautiful island.The Infinity pool and the outdoor cooking and eating area allows one to enjoy the view of the Caribbean and Jost Van Dyke.The separate sleeping quarters allow family or friends to feel connected yet apart.We highly recommend this property as your vacation destination.
