I missed that there was no food, not even breakfast. Housekeeping was only on request, which really surprised me. I felt that I paid a lot for my unit, which was spacious, with windows on three sides. I am in my 60s, and the toilet was extremely low and very awkward. The faucet knocked in the bathroom was very difficult to pull on. I struggled with it. I also felt there should have been easier-to-reach bedside lamps. They were high over my head on the wall.
And the mattress was uncomfortable: excessively firm. I've never stayed anywhere with such a hard mattress. I felt that they wanted to accommodate my handicapped mobility, paving a special sign for patting right outside my unit, which was nice. And they offered to drive me in their golf cart to the beach. So, it was a mixed bag. But I think I learned never to pay as much as I did, if they aren't even offering breakfast options and automatic housekeeping.
