Beautiful relaxing location, large spacious well appointed room, Andy the host was so welcoming and helpful with both areas to visit and restaurants to eat at. Breakfast cooked by Andy was delicious and nutritious. We are,already looking forward to planning our return visit and bring friends to experience this gorgeous Lodge and the wonderful offerings,in Whangarei.

Generally as a sales rep you’re in there for minimal time but it’s time away from home and all that home offers. Andy and the lodge make that experience that much greater with a caring and professional attitude towards looking after their guests. Guttered I missed the breakfast but I’ll be back and better plan to enjoy the feast you’d no doubt put on team. Thank you for a great nights stay away from home.

We were very impressed with the owner who went over and above to meet our needs. There were 4 of us with ample room . The beds were very comfortable and our room super dark for sleeping. The cooked breakfast was also tasty and much appreciated.

Well Worth It

Andy was great. A quick debreif upon arrival showing me where breakfast would be and those timings along with explaining the ceral/toast and cooked breakfast options - Omlete was devine. A very spacious room (Purple room) and lovely workspace set up when I was back from field work. Modern and very comfortable bed and linen. A big highlight for me was the quiet and the 2 horses which would stand at the fence each morning when I opened the sliding bathroom windows. Very freindly and enjoyed daily pats. Would stay here again.
