Hasta La Vista river cruiser is back!
Hasta La Vista is Spanish for "see you again soon".
It is a unique small river cruiser ideally suited for single and couple short and extended stays on the mighty Murray River at the picturesque Riverglen Marina, Marina View Road. White Sands, South Australia 5238.
The Hasta has been retired from a premier self drive cruiser to static floating accommodation only.
The Hasta has transformed through extensive and tasteful updating inside and out to improve the quality of presentation even further.
The Hasta history evolved in 1999 after construction at a local company Bumble Bee engineering, the Hasta was one of 6 siblings known as the River Wrens. The Hasta is an all steel monohull cruiser 11m length, 4 meter beam, 400mm draft and weighs 8 tons.
It is nestled in its own private mooring at the Riverglen Marina giving the appeal of seclusion similar to an oasis with weeping willows surrounding it providing nice shading on summer days and personal privacy.
The location of the Riverglen Marina is on Marina View Road about 10 minute drive from the town of Murray Bridge heading south along the Jervois Road passing under the freeway Swanport Bridge. Riverglen Marina is secure with access only by keypad which allows guests to come and go as they want. There is guest parking directly out the front of the Hasta for ease of access.
The Hasta is perfectly set up to provide guests a cosy, comfortable, relaxing appeal for short or extended getaway stays. It is complimented with full furnishings and amenities to give the home away from home feel.
The interior is open plan with ample space for singles and couples to move about in complete privacy.
There is separate bathroom with shower and toilet with assistance grab handle. Bedding linen is supplied and sleeping is on one double bed which forms part of the living space. The mattress is very comfy, at night it is usually very quiet and dark allowing a great night's sleep. However there is no control over nature and the birds do rise early!
There is a full functioning kitchenette with gas oven stove top, microwave, air fryer, toaster and all utensils etc to allow a full feast to be prepared. Fresh water is plumbed in for drinking and personal bathing use.
Everything is provided guests don't need to bring anything unless they want to.
The Hasta is professionally cleaned after each guest stay to ensure hygiene standards.
On the outside is a rear covered patio with blinds and an extended swim deck to allow direct water access. This is a major feature that we love! Its fantastic sitting on the rear deck taking in the abundant wildlife, sun sets and rises and the serenity of the river and distant view.
There is a large esky for ice cold beverages, a complimentary bag of ice is supplied but guests can bring more as well. A gas operated heater is at hand to provide a warm and cosy atmosphere on colder evenings.
A BBQ is at hand to cook up an outdoor feast with plenty of sitting space to eat under the stars.
The mooring position is perfect for protected swimming and there is a swim ladder for ease of movement into an out of the water. You can also bring your own fishing gear, water toy such as a jet ski or tinny to use and tie up against the swim deck.
There are 2 single person canoes available for guests to use. Limited size water safety vests are provided but guests can bring their own as well.
The Hasta is a non smoking environment on board.
Unfortunately the Hasta is not suitable for mobility assistance devices as the deck access and doorways are narrow and the living area is stepped down.
The Hasta is fully compliant under Survey and AMSA certification for electrical, gas and fire. Fire safety equipment is on board. There is full black water containment and grey water is filtered by EPA approved system.
There are smoke and carbon detectors fitted inside.
The Hasta is powered by on shore 240v supply but internal lighting and USB points are 12v solar powered. The smart TV is 240v and has Chromecast accessibility, Internet is best sourced from your own mobile shared network allowing all features of the smart TV to be accessed.
Guests will be greeted by the Host or an associate, full on board and safety features orientation will be given. Guests will be provided with the security gate code and necessary contact numbers for non urgent matters. Everything will be explained to ensure assistance is only a call away.
Murray Bridge is the closest major riverland town and has many points of interest especially at the wharf and public reserve famous for the "Bunyip". There are many eateries, large shopping centres, fuel stations etc so getting essentials is not a problem. It is only about a 10 minute drive into the Murray Bridge CBD.
Riverglen Marina is situated central to "The Bend" motor racing facility and The Wellington Hotel further south along the Jervois Road.
All conditions of hire will be explained by the Host.
As your Hosts of the Hasta La Vista our most important aim is to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as we can to ensure you return in the very near future.
