We booked this hotel under the impression that the rooms would be comfortable and clean. That was not the case. Our room had outdated carpet with stains, a lumpy uncomfortable mattress and cigarette holes in the furniture. The lamp and shower head were broken, and they ran out of food at the continental breakfast even though we went to the lobby hours before it was over. It is conveniently located to Colonial Williamsburg but we wouldn’t stay again.

Breakfast was really good. Bedroom was ok but the bathroom was so so. Coffee maker wasn't cleaned there was a used filter that wasn't disposed. Entrance in the middle of the bldg. is not secured hence anybody can get in.

If you want to sleep, go elsewhere.

The in-room HVAC system was so incredibly LOUD that we couldn't sleep with it running. We had to turn it off for a few hours at a time to be able to get any shuteye at all. Needless to say, we were exhausted the next day. Thankfully we only stayed one night. There are no towel racks in the bathroom. Seriously? The pool was empty except for a large puddle of dirty, stagnant water at the deep end. The exercise room was empty of equipment and "under renovation", although no work in progress was apparent. The sausage patties offered at breakfast were burnt and inedible. Overall, a disappointing experience.

A tent would have been better

Upon arrival we were greeted by a sign that stated the receptionist had stepped away and would be back. Upon her return the check in process was smooth. The initial appearance of the common areas seemed well kept and inviting. However, as we entered our room the smell of mold was overwhelming to the point it was hard to be in the room. The smell was only the beginning; the bathroom had a cracked celling with pieces missing not to mention cracked tiles in the shower. The final piece was the pool was not open and filthy, the gym had no equipment and was closed as was the aerobics room. I feel as though this hotel was significantly misrepresented and I paid $360.18 for this deception!! shame on hotels.com for suggesting this!

Little teeny tiny bars of soap for shower and bathtub was disgusting. The staff that greeted me when I first arrived. There was horribly rude peeling paint on the walls big holes in the carpet. The only reason I stayed is because it was graduation weekend, and there was nothing else available, but never again.

Bad service

When we arrived there the room we had the sheets was dirty and the bathroom didn't look like it had been clean, we contact the front desk she told us to come get more sheets to make up our own bed, also when we said the bathroom wasn't clean she said that everyone clean is different, clean is clean if its dirty then it's not clean.just very bad service all away around.

The front desk could not use my debit card to pay the bill! Luckily, I had enough cash! The card reader read my wife’s debit card fine for the $20 fee!
