Staff were friendly. The room was outdated but clean. The mini fridge made a high pitch noise, so I unplugged it. The 3rd floor ice machine was out of order. I liked that the window opened. The breakfast was cold foods (like yogurt and cereal) except the toaster (for bagels and waffles). They offered gluten free breads too, which is nice for some. The coffee was good. Get there early if you want fruit and to beat the crowds. The gym was well equipped and a decent location for visiting Williamsburg. There was also putt putt golf onsite, but we didn't have time.

The employees here are fantastic. Courteous , helpful amiable, everything you could as for. It pains me to say it, but that is where the the up-side ends. This place is in an advanced state of disrepair. The sleeper sofa was broken in both suites, king mattresses were worn-out to the point of being uncomfortable, An obscure amount of exposed ducting in the corridors and missing celling tiles. Most of the water features on the kids' splash pad are damaged or non-functional. Neighboring facilities are either mothballed or being demolished, so the view outside is about as bad as the state of the amenities inside...

There could be better signs inside the hotel, letting you know which direction things/rooms are located. Found it difficult to locate our room at check in. Also need a better variety of food offered during breakfast. There was very little protein. Mostly breads/carbohydrates.
