This beautiful 6-BR, 4-bath, town home-style beach property checks all the right boxes for those large family vacations! This wonderfully placed home is only 1 block or about a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. This unit is conveniently close to the downtown Carolina Beach boardwalk, shops & restaurants. The open floor plan is perfect for relaxing & entertaining, & boasts a spacious kitchen with large center island, stainless appliances, granite counter tops, & custom tile back splash. The large living area opens out to a spacious covered porch with ocean views. The top floor master suite features an en-suite bath with glass/tile shower & whirlpool tub, large walk-in closet, & a private covered porch. The 5 additional guest bedrooms & 3 additional guest baths provide ample space & comfort for large families to stay together. 4 of the remaining bedrooms each have a queen bed and the 6th bedroom has 2 twin beds. There are multiple decks for enjoying the outside sounds of the ocean. There is also an outdoor shower and available beach chairs for guest use during your stay. There is parking for 4 vehicles at the property

Our group was overall very satisfied with our stay. Patio furniture needed cleaning or cushion replacement. Coffee machine did not work properly, luckily one of the people staying lived locally. Also surprised no showers had any soap or shampoo.

Family Beach Reunion

We had 11 family members ranging in ages from 2 to 70. Everyone was very comfortable. We used the porch for working and the living room for hanging out. The house has 5G. One night, we had 8 additional family members over for dinner from Cape Fear Boil (highly recommend). Plenty of places to sit. Beach access is super close and about three blocks to the Tiki Bar.

Family vacation

Excellent home for large family vacation. Accommodated 10 comfortably. Close to beach access. This was our first visit to Carolina Beach and we were very pleased with the location and amenities. Host was quick to respond.

Cleanliness could be a lot better!

I expected more for home to be clean considering what we paid for cleaning. A lot of wear and Tate. Refrigerator ice maker was nasty. Mattress protector was stained. Kitchen cabinet had to be fixed. Whoever they hire to clean they don’t do. Good job. Bowls in cabinet had black spots on them(mold). Furniture spotted for stuns. Beautiful home but need. Little Tlc

Stay was okay.

Here are the good things. The house is plenty big for a large group, the rooms were comfy and clean, the A/C was perfectly cool, the couch is extremely comfortable. Here are the things that need work. We found several moldy glasses and a moldy drink shaker that obviously had drink left in it for a very long time. My husband even drank out of a glass with mold in it not realizing it. The floor in the kitchen was disgusting when we got there. I wiped up just piece of ice that fell and the whole paper towel was black. The water filter tray on the fridge is so disgusting we all didn’t feel comfortable getting any water from that fridge. Here is my biggest issue. When we got there it was clear the fridge wasn’t working right from the beginning. I called and was told to wait a while. By that evening, it still wasn’t cooling and we moved our meat to coolers in fear that it would go bad. I texted the number again on July 4th see if there was anything we could do and whoever I was talking to proceeded to just basically tell me that I didn’t know how a fridge worked. The next day it still didn’t work well so someone came to check it and the guy who checked it said a new fridge was needed. I texted the number again to figure out next steps now that it was confirmed something was wrong with it and I was told the owner would figure out options. Moral of the story, we never got a fully functioning fridge so if you are staying here be sure to have a back up plan for food.

The rooms were not as clean as I like but were just okay. We had s really good time though so that issue didn’t pose a big problem for us. I would probably look for something not as dated for any future visits.

Really, really good…. almost great

I’m not one of those people who just throw out all five star ratings all the time. This place gets really close. It comfortably fit 10 people. The location a block off the beach was super easy. It's far enough from the hubbub on the pier to be quiet at night but close enough that a quick bike ride gets you there. Management was really responsive and kind with our questions and concerns. I would bring the following if you were going to rent this property: your own pillows (not very comfortable), a Brita (that’s not the property owners fault it’s just the water taste metallic.) and some more cooking supplies if you’re a cooker family. The patio furniture could use an upgrade but we certainly enjoyed our time out there post beach. I would rent this place again for sure.

Good house but kitchen was a problem

The house was fine in most respects and everyone had a good time. There were problems with the kitchen though. First, there was insufficient tableware, pots, pans and so on. A house that can accommodate 10 people should have at least 10 coffee cups, plates, silverware and so on. And even then you would have to wash dishes after each meal. The property manager was very responsive, and brought us some things. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well. It was our fault for not alerting the property manager sooner because I am sure that he would have responded. It is probably fixed by now. Overall, if you are going to eat out and take out, there should be no problem. But if you want to do a lot of cooking and eating in, you may want to make specific inquiries to be sure that you will have what you need. Again, I think the property manager would be willing to accommodate you.

We had an amazing stay at Blue Bliss. The property was beautiful and clean. It included all the amenities we needed. Location is close to the beach for an easy walk. Property Management very responsive to any follow-up questions or requests. I would highly recommend staying here.

Blue Bliss was lovely

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Bliss in June 2023. We were very surprised and pleased to find the house completely furnished with all the essentials needed for daily living. The kitchen had a terrific selection of cooking utensils and well stocked pantry items and spices. We assume past guests left behind all the pantry items. Thank you. The house was very comfortable. The living room was great. The dining table was very nice for 6 adults and some little ones. Placemats would be nice to protect the table. Some of the beds were squeaky but no problem sleeping. Loved the outdoor shower. We brought our own beach chairs, etc., but we were so happy to find a wagon available in the outdoor storage closet. Blue Bliss is on a very quiet street. Very nice people walk their dogs each day morning and night. Parking can be an issue for large vehicles such as pickup trucks. You might be able to squeeze in four vehicles but you won’t be able to open the doors. The property management people are very kind and efficient. They are available to answer any questions and help on the spot. Blue Bliss was lovely.

Good Customer Service

This was such a great management property!!! They were so reliable and responded immediately. They definitely were there for the renters and anything we needed. I left something and they shipped It immediately to me, and made sure I received the tracking number. However, the only two compliant I have would be: 1. The amount of dishes. I think as a large house they should definitely have more pots and pans since It holds around 10 people. 2. I think the property should invest in a better cleaning service. The guest were required to wash the dishes and when we arrived we had to rewash everything because it seemed like they weren’t really clean or checked. The house just didn’t seem like it was throughly cleaned. The bed, sheets towels,and bathrooms were clean but the overall house just seemed a bit dirty. I just think as a beach house a good cleaning service is necessary.

Disappointed in the details

Before I go in to detail about what we were disappointed in,I will say that the home was roomy and clean and in a great location just a few minutes walk to the beach. The disappointing part was that there was not one beach towel supplied to guests in an advertised “ beach house”. When I called to ask about this I was basically told that I was the first person to ever inquire about this. I find that very hard to believe as I doubt families up to 12 people are packing a suitcase full of beach towels. I will say they had some delivered after they let me know they would “eat” the cost. 5 out of the 7 beach chairs supplied were broken. They make it very clear that the dishwasher needs to be run and empty or you will be charged yet they did not supply any dishwasher detergent or any extra cleaning supplies. We also had to buy our own trash bags as we would have had to pay extra for not taking out the trash. There weren’t any extra trash bags or paper towels. Each person receives only one towel to shower with. I had to use a hand towel for my hair and dried off with a damp towel when I showered for the second time after going to the beach. There was not one extra toiletry or one extra condiment in the kitchen. The one mixing bowl made it difficult to put out a spread at dinner. All in all the disappointment at this price point was the lack of the small details that making renting a beach home comfortable. We were told that this was one of their 40 properties and it showed….

Great house, a little dirty

We loved the house, good location, cute house, plenty of room, but the house wasn’t cleaned well and there were an insane amount of bugs everywhere. It seems the guests from week prior are relied on to do a lot of the cleaning, because of the chore list we had. Don’t mind doing chores to make things easy, but all the dishes were dirty, we had to clean everything before we used it. There were an insane amount of fruit flies but only in the living room, I mean a ton, we ended up finding a lot of old food under the couches. A lot of cockroaches/water bugs. Which I know is hard being at the beach, but many of my guests woke up having roaches crawling up there faces and bodies. Very unpleasant. The actual house and location is great, but the cleanliness was a bit of a downer.
