No refund issued — sharing to inform future guests.We stayed in early August and encountered multiple issues: bed bugs (with photo evidence), cockroaches, and a front door that didn’t close properly (which we reported). We left early, spent time and money sanitizing all our belongings, and damaged clothing in the process due to high-heat precautions. Despite raising these concerns, no refund was offered. Management claims no pest activity was found, but we stand by what we experienced. I’ve attached photos of the pests (also shared with VRBO and the hosts) and the host response to the photos. I will not post photos of our bites in this review, but photo evidence was sent to the host.Posting this so others can make an informed decision - I recommend inspecting the beds and entryways THOROUGHLY.

Loved, loved the expansive deck and the porch swing. Fireplace could have been cleaned out, and the wi-fi was completely non-functional. Other than that, it worked great for us.

Treehouse cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Coolview Cabin. The cabin was cozy and well appointed. I was surprised at the set of very steep stairs into the cabin. There was a drive to the side of the cabin that had an entrance without stairs but it was a very steep driveway. I felt there should have been info on this for people with mobility issues.

Rustic and clean

Great views in a quaint & rustic cabin. Everything was very clean! Comfortable bed and living room furniture. Communication with the property manager was professional and prompt. Some members of our group were wishing for thicker and more curtains over the windows to sleep at night, but this was not an issue for everyone. Only other thing I would change is adding a dish drying rack or more kitchen towels since there is no dishwasher. Overall, we loved the area. It was great for a quick getaway with friends and we enjoyed our weekend!
