Öur Cabin was originally built in 1979 using the butt-and pass method with full logs. In 2022 the Magnuson family fully renovated the cabin, transforming into a modernized luxury property. They diligently pursued a vision to bring the cabin back to life. Today, Öur Cabin captures all the charm of the Northwoods, while bringing in the indulgences of upscale living. This lake property includes a hot tub, gas grill, kayaks, 10-person pontoon boat (add-on cost), fishing gear, life vests, campfire wood, propane fire pit, as well as a traditional campfire pit for all those S'more lovers. Inside the cabin, you will find a fully equipped contemporary kitchen with brand-new high-end appliances. The bathroom was designed to create the full spa experience! The 72" deep soaking tub, rain fall showerhead, and heated floor kept at 95 degrees are a sure way to wind down from everyday stresses. Each bedroom has a Serta Perfect Sleeper king bed with down comforters and 1000 thread count luxury bedding. Both rooms also include ceiling fans, Ruko smart TVs, and USB charging nightstands. The living room brings in the warmth and coziness with a beautiful gas fireplace constructed with local stone from a nearby quarry. The reclining furniture set allows you to adjust to the perfect comfort level, kick back, and log into your personal preferred TV app of choice using the Smart TV. The Cabin is equipped with a full size Maytag washer and dryer for your laundering needs. Öur Cabin is very close to excellent Northwoods dining and tavern locations. Dix's Chalet, a quick 0.8 miles away, offers fine dining options, as well as good old fashioned Wisconsin Fish Fry. The Rustic Lodge, 0.6 miles away, provides the perfect atmosphere to grab a burger and beer after a day on the lake. Lakewood Cafe serves up an all-American breakfast and opens at 7a.m. Winter, WI is an awesome place for trail riding, whether it be snowmobile, ATV, or UTV - this property has access to the Tuscobia Trail!
Öur Cabin will leave you feeling rejuvenated and recharged! We are truly delighted to share the gentle rustle of the trees, the smell of pines, the breathtaking sunsets and sunrises reflecting on the lake...all the beauty this area and cabin has to offer.

The cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. From the cozy heated floors and the inviting fireplace to the fully stocked kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The hot tub was spotless and perfectly hot, offering a relaxing retreat. This place is a gem and one of the best cabins we've stayed at for this price range. It was immaculate, simple, and luxurious all at the same time. The host was super easy to contact and had great local recommendations. Highly recommend adding on the pontoon rental if you're there in boating season - we had a blast! Quiet, secluded, plenty of nature, and tons to do just a few minutes away. The love and care put into this family run cabin is easy to see and far and away better than any corporate rental I've used. They have everything you need, and nothing that you don't.

Very nice, cozy updated, clean cabin. We checked in with Eric a couple times, he was very pleasant. Only issue we had was google maps took us to a different location a few times when we were checking in. Eric helped us find Our Cabin right away.We went to fish and were very successful. We had fun catching a few big ones and a lot of small ones.It was a very relaxing wonderful vacation staying at Our Cabin!

Perfect Christmas Family Getaway

This was a perfect 5 day Christmas getaway for our busy family. We were able to unwind, relax and enjoy our time here. Eric and family were wonderful from the booking, to check in to checkout. Anniversary Getaway

This is one of the nicest VRBO's we have stayed at - by far! The hosts are very friendly and thoughtful, and very quick to respond. The interior of the cabin is homey, beautifully decorated, and squeaky clean! We spent hours by the fire table, looking out at the lake, and the geese provided lovely morning and evening concerts. 2 nights was not long enough!

First of all, the communication with the host was quick and always very informative. Eric was extremely helpful and gave many ideas for food and things to do while my wife and I were staying at the rental. When we arrived at the house, we were in awe over the beauty of the property. Everything was taken into consideration, from the gorgeous lighting around the fire pit to the heated floors in the bathroom. I have nothing negative to say about the property or the host. We had an incredible stay, and we will definitely be returning in the future!

The owners of this place thought of everything! The amenities and environment are spectacular. From the ambience of the outdoor lights in the trees to create a fairytale space to the gorgeous fireplace and large bathtub inside.
