We’ve stayed at other properties at lighthouse cove and liked them. The pools and beach are great for kids. The location is wonderful. This was our first two bedroom and with vacasa and while it was great having the extra space this was definitely not “luxury.” The one bedrooms we had rented with destination dells were much nicer furnished and decorated. The price was already high and I’m glad we were only staying a few nights as the hideabed was broken making the couch unusable. While they did provide chairs they left the couch there taking up space and being unsightly despite the local team being aware before our arrival. We were told a new sofa was on order but would’t be there during our stay which is why they provided the 4 chairs. We did not feel safe with the bunk beds as they didn’t feel sturdy. There was another sleeping space in the 2nd bedroom we were able to use. The master bedroom had a broken frame which made it unusable as well so we had to move the bed to the floor. They took out the frame upon our request which freed up space after our first night but left the box spring which we put up on the wall to be out of the way. There also isn’t any porch furniture (there were two chairs but both broken) so if you want to relax out there you need to do it standing or can take a kitchen chair out on the first floor. I’m sure they’ll fix the bed and couch but it was very inconvenient for our stay.
