Tämä koti on yksi tarina, puukoneilla, joista on upeat näkymät Crooked-joelle. Hiljaisesti kätkeytyneenä 31 hehtaarin tilalle, joka tarjoaa vuohia, sikoja, kanoja ja lehmää. Tämä kiinteistö sijaitsee kätevästi vain 3/4 mailin päässä I-95: stä ja 25 minuutin päässä Jacksonville, Florida. Fantastic views and location

This is a great quiet location with incredible views. Very clean, owners very responsive. The dock was incredible and catches the breeze and provides shade so despite hot temperatures it was very comfortable.

Weekend Getaway

Everything about the cottage and property were perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was so clean. The property was beautiful and relaxing. We fished off the dock most of the time and were able to catch several crabs, as well as several fish. We will definitely be back.

Perfect family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Wheeler Cottage. The home was beautiful and clean. Perfect space for a family of four. The property was amazing. We loved all the outdoor space with the huge yard, firepit, and spent so much time fishing down on the dock. We were looking for a quiet week away for the holiday week and got exactly what we needed. The owners were very easy to communicate with as well. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Perfect Peace

Everything was better than you get from the pictures. Home was clean and lovely. The property was private, but not too isolated. Beautiful view, enjoyed the firepit and the dock as well. Saw dolpins and all sorts of birds. Had a wonderful time. Hope to return soon.

My husband and I and my sister and brother in-law have been making our annual trip to Crooked River for many years. Because of the hurricane the state park was closed and boy are we glad we found this beautiful place as an alternative. The cottage is lovely, well furnished, very clean and everything you need for a wonderful stay. It was so nice to be able to keep our boat in the water at the dock and get out early for fishing and crabbing. We so enjoyed siting on the dock chairs in the evening having a cocktail and watching the sunset. Our last night we had a yummy crab feast out on the back patio. This will definitely be our new place to stay for our annual trip Thank you to our host who was very responsive and kindly answered all our questions.

Husband birthday getaway

Oh my, where do I begin? The cottage was pristine. It was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. While walking to the dock we stopped to relax in the swing and soak up rhe mesmerizing nature that surrounded us. The dock had comfortable chairs and fans. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing. While relaxing on the dock we saw alligators and dolphins. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Perfect retreat

Thoughtfully curated property. Perfectly designed for a peaceful retreat. Has DOLPHINS! In every way it has been designed for comfort and peace. We fished, kayaked, shrimped, spent hours upon hours sitting on the dock watching the wildlife. There is a wonderful fire pit as well. It was also beautifully clean.

Living the good life down by the River.

This was such a nice escape for my wife and I. It was just what we needed to get our mojo back. The home is clean and came with everything we needed to get our vacation started. The enjoyable walk through the beautiful long back yard, to the dock, is just enough to count as exercise if you want it too. The dock has a covered area just above, and before it, and a great place for non fishermen and women to comfortably hang out and watch, or do yoga or snack or whatever as there are fans blowing and seats and the view is the best part… the Crooked river flows by and Dolphins visited once and gar fish rolled frequently. Birds were abundant and the marsh view seemed endless. Miss it already! Communication was just right and Daniel to good care of us! Thanks!

Summer Trip
