Aivan Woolacomben Esplanadilla istuu Cliff Mökki omissa puutarhoissaan, taaksepäin ja korotettuna tien päältä. Kirjaimellisesti askeleen päässä rannasta, se komentaa upeat merinäkymät suoraan Woolacomben rannan poikki Putsboroughiin, Baggy Pointiin ja sen ulkopuolelle.

Tämä 1950-luvun chalet-tyylinen talo on hiljattain kunnostettu korkeatasoisiksi ja nukkuu jopa 8 plus vauva 3 tilavassa makuuhuoneessa ja mahtuu 2 perhettä erittäin mukavasti.

Iso etupiha on suljettu matalalla puuaidalla ja portilla. 2/3-autolle on runsaasti parkkipaikkaa ja autotalli tarjoaa runsaasti tilaa surffilautojen, vartalolevyjen, polkupyörien ja yleisen rantapaketin säilyttämiseen. Talon takana on kaksi lämmitettyä suihkua, joista voit nauttia meripulauksen jälkeen. Ranta-elämän tilat parhaimmillaan!

Pääterassilla on Kalifornian tyylisiä ulkokalusteita, joissa vieraat voivat hyödyntää upeita näkymiä. Toisaalta edessä patio, keittiön ruokailun ulkopuolella, ovat pöytä ja tuolit ulkosalla aterioita. Kiinteistön takana on terassialue, joka tarjoaa yksinäisemmän ulkotilan, mutta silti nauttia upeista näkymistä merelle.

Astuessasi talon sisään, etuoven vasemmalla puolella on keittiö ruokailutila ja erillinen kodinhoitohuone, jossa pesukone ja kuivausrumpu. Kunnostetussa keittiössä on valkoisia retro-tyylisiä yksiköitä, jotka tarjoavat runsaasti säilytystilaa, ja uusia laitteita, kuten astianpesukone, amerikkalaistyylinen jääkaappi / pakastin ja liesiuuni, jossa on 2 uunia ja 5 poltinta, mukaan lukien wok-poltin.

Portaiden oikealla puolella ovi johtaa 2 oleskelutilaan, joita erottavat suuret pariovet, jotka tarjoavat joustavan elintilan. Ensimmäisessä huoneessa on kaksi antrasiittiharmaata kangassohvaa ja iso 55 tuuman seinälle asennettu Smart 4K Ultra HD -televisio. Smart TV: llä on Internet-yhteys, joten vieraat voivat käyttää Netflixiä, BBC iPlayeria, YouTubea jne. Omilla tileillä. Kaikille, jotka haluavat muodostaa yhteyden omiin laitteisiinsa, on saatavana myös HDMI-portteja. g.laptop jne., vaikka DVD-soitinta ei toimiteta. Pariovien kautta on suurempi oleskelutila, jossa on alkuperäinen kivisuorattu takka ja lasiovet, jotka johtavat istuvan terassin etupatioon. Kiinteistössä on DEFRA-hyväksytty Stovax 5 kW: n energiatehokas puulämmitteinen liesi, joten voit viihtyä takan vieressä viileämpinä iltoina. Siellä on iso L-muotoinen kulmasohva ja lisäjalka. Molemmilla huoneilla on uskomattomat näkymät rannalle ja merelle: upea !!

Alakerran takana on vasta varustettu suihkuhuone, jossa kaksinkertainen suihku, pesuallas ja WC. Travertiinilaatat viimeistelevät tyylikkään nykyaikaisen ilmeen.

Tämän vieressä on kahden hengen huone, jossa on kaksi erillistä vetoketjullinen sänkyä, joista voidaan tehdä superkuningas (ilmoita mieluummin varauksen yhteydessä).

Yläkerrassa on lisäksi kaksi makuuhuonetta. Ylellisessä makuuhuoneessa on super-king-size-vuode, ja sieltä on upeat merinäkymät.

Toisessa makuuhuoneessa, joka on ihanteellinen lapsille ja teini-ikäisille, on tukeva valkoinen puinen kolmen hengen kerrossänky ja valkoinen puinen yhden hengen sänky, jonka alapuolella on lisävedettävä vyöryvuode, joka voidaan sijoittaa kätevästi L-muotoon maksimoidaksesi lattiatilan.

Portaikkojen yläosassa on myös kylpyhuone kylpyammeella, pesuallas ja wc. Alkuperäisillä harmailla laattoilla ja sviitillä on 70-luvun tunnelma ja ne lisäävät tämän ihastuttavan ominaisuuden viehätysvoimaa.

Uudet lattiat kaikkialla, valkoiset pestyt seinät ja rannalle vaikuttava taideteos, Cliff Mökki näyttää raikkaalta, puhtaalta ja modernilta, mutta säilyttää kuitenkin vanhemman talon luonteen, joka on aina ollut ylpeänä Esplanadilla.

Best view in Woolacombe

Cliff Cottage has one of the best positions and best views in Woolacombe. The whole stay is enhanced by looking out across the wide bay of Woolacombe to Baggy Point, both when sitting inside and when enjoying the extensive outdoor space.

Excellent location, within a few minutes walk to both beach and amenities. Wonderful views (even if currently slightly obstructed by current construction activities to beach cafe. Well equipped but some of the downstairs soft furnishings need updating.

Beautiful cottage

We had a fantastic time staying at cliff cottage. As a family we’ve stayed in Woolacombe before, but staying at cliff cottage made the holiday so much more enjoyable this year. The cottage had so much space for us all. There were beautiful views. There was everything we could possibly need inside, and we loved the extra touches in the kitchen. Would 10 out of 10 recommend this to anyone who asked, what a beautiful place to stay.

Great location in a comfortable house

We had a wonderful holiday at Cliff Cottage, the house had glorious views, but set back from the road. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and see the sunsets. The house is very spacious, the beds gloriously comfortable, excellent shower and very well equipped kitchen. Great to have a safe and secure garden for the dog. Overall a lovely stay, thank you ! Will be back

Cliff cottage

A very enjoyable stay at Cliff Cottage. The location of the property and its proximity to the beach and village were perfect. The cottage is simply furnished and very spacious. The lovely wraparound garden and outside space was a real bonus and perfect for our needs with an elderly relative and two dogs.

Brilliant Location

Cliff Cottage is in a brilliant location in Woolacombe with stunning views of the beach, rolling waves, and hills beyond. It was so easy and quick to go out for walks with the dog (who also loved the safe, secure garden). The cottage itself is generally comfortable and welcoming, an easy space for a relaxing holiday. Some aspects could do with a 'refresh' but in the end this did not distract from a good time. The team at Holiday Home Hunter were excellent: prompt and responsive in all communications. Thank you.

Family Holiday

Perfect location and lovely house. Space enough in the living rooms for 6 adults, 9 month old granddaughter and a 3 year old fur baby who loved the bunnies in the garden. The parking area has plenty of space and easily accommodated our 3 cars. Already book again for next year.

Just what we hoped for.

The property is a little tired, especially the kitchen but the view along Woolacombe sands makes up for the properties short comings. The master bedroom is very comfortable with a great view and we had a wonderful week.

Another excellent week in Cliff Cottage

Cliff cottage is a wonderful holiday cottage, with fabulous sea views. The house is well equipped and offers ample space for four adults and three children. The outside showers and adjacent utility room are extremely useful when coming in from the beach. There is plenty of outdoor space and space for drying wet suits and boards. After a day on the beach it is so lovely to sit on the terrace of an evening, drink in hand…….just watching the sun go down. The Grandchildren (and the adults) are already looking forward to next years holiday in Cliff Cottage.

Another lovely family holiday

Once again a very enjoyable holiday in this “cottage” in a super location. Ideal for the younger family members - beach,sea and walking and us “oldies” sitting on the terrace watching the world go by! The property is not luxurious but has all that you need for a very relaxing time and even the changeable weather didn’t detract from this. Have already booked again !

A gem in Woolacombes crown

Cliff Cottage on the Esplanade is the perfect location for a family holiday. There is easy access to the beach and local amenities that cater for your every need. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable with ample parking and amazing views. The outdoor showers were a real bonus for washing off the sand before going into the house. The welcome pack is a very nice gesture from the owners 'Thank you!' I highly recommend Cliff Cottage.

Our second “sea view fix” this year !

Keep coming back - booked again for next year. Not really suitable for the less mobile but once in the cottage it’s fine so my husband struggles up the steps just to enjoy the peace and views. The housekeepers do a really good job and have been so helpful. Looking forward to next July (if not before ?!)

This is a regular stay for us as a family. Wonderful location with fantastic walks from the door for us and the dogs. Handy for the shops and beach. The children loved the surfing. Ideal for the dogs with enclosed garden. We hardly used the car. Lots of lovely local cafes. Holiday Home Hunter are fantastic. Very helpful. Best Holiday Property agents we have dealt with.

Autumn holiday

Very nice house, but really a shame that the upstairs toilet didnt flush. Kitchen was a little bit worn down, pots and pans not really tidy, new baking trays are needed. Besides everything was fine.

Perfect location

This is a fantastic location just across the road from the beach. Stunning views, especially sitting out on the terrace. We've been returning here every year for over five years. It works well for grandparents as there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Two large sitting rooms mean plenty of space for a big family. It is always spotless. A few things could be updated or replaced, but are livable with. Overall, a really excellent location, with a garden and parking. Holiday Home Hunter who manage the bookings are friendly, professional and go out of their way to be helpful - thank you.

Great location and great car parking spaces.

The housekeepers were really very helpful. A new mattress was required for the travel cot as the one supplied was not long enough to fit the cot which they sorted and was delivered to Cliff Cottage. The one thing that was missing was summer duvets, the ones that are on the beds upstairs were very high tog. and were very hot. The shower floor was slippery, I had read this in a review so I took a bath mat with me.

Wonderful Week in June

This is only our second visit to Cliff Cottage but we have already booked for next year. That is really all you need to know. A fantastic holiday home in an amazing location for a family plus pets. We brought our dogs. The house is roomy and comfortable. The garden is also beautiful at this time of year. The location is wonderful for access to everything Woolacombe and Mortehoe has to offer and the views from the patio are wonderful. We did not use the car once but spent our time walking and exploring and visiting all the lovely cafes. We would thoroughly recommend this Cottage if you have a dog. Loads of different walks from the door. A perfect week to relax and unwind and forget all the troubles at home!

Ideal for a family beach holiday

Unbeatable position for superb sea views over Woolacombe sands and for quick and easy access to the beach and village amenities. House clean and well equipped, good laundry facilities and parking, but things beginning to look a bit worn and shabby and the description of the property should now be taken with a pinch of salt. The two double rooms have nice large beds but the children’s bedroom would be cramped for four children. Eight people dining around the table in the kitchen would be crowded and rather uncomfortable with two benches and four folding chairs - hope for warm weather as it’s lovely eating outside. It would also make it much easier for guests if the checkin (5pm) was an hour earlier and the checkout (9am) an hour later. However another great week, thank you.

Cliff Cottage for a family holiday

Very first stay at Cliff Cottage. We were delighted with the accommodation. We were 3 generations and it met all of our needs. The cottage is very spacious giving plenty of room for socialising and quiet times with plenty of seating. The oldies in our group were happy to sit and take in the views from the outside furniture on the terrace. The garden which wraps around the whole of the property was a real bonus. There was total privacy and you are not overlooked by any of the adjoining properties. We used the outside showers after returning from the beach, which were again an added bonus. The whole property was very clean and tidy, the bedding and towels were of a high quality and everything you needed for a self catering holiday was provided for. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and a nice touch. We are planning to return next year.
