High cost but surprisingly not even basic room service Obviously been refurbished recently therefore high cost I wasn’t expecting what I received More as temporary accommodation for tradesmen

Staff are always amazing. Molly who did the check in and serviced dinner was lovely. Third stay this year. Lovely place and the food is always good.

A great one-night stay; would have happily stayed a second night. Warm and welcoming hostess on arrival. We stayed in one of the newly renovated ground floor rooms - no issues with noise. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both excellent. We were lucky to find free road parking nearby for the Saturday night (only available as free and unlimited through to the Sunday morning).

Rooms had a boutique feel..Quality fixtures and fittings and very clean.Comfy bed I was on second floor and there was no noise from bar below.Lady on check-in was very welcoming.

Happy staff hotel.

The room was comfortable, clean and warm. All the staff were friendly and eager to help with any request. We have stayed before and will stay again. For the price you won't get better.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in over the last couple of years. Old inn but lovely refurbishment to a high standard. Breakfast was amazing and we took advantage of the dinner too. Very quiet rooms. My son loved his bunk bed and having his own space/light. We’d definitely stay again. If you are travelling by train literally metres from the station.
