Silver Surf has a wonderful property with stunning views. The rooms are quite spacious, which was a nice surprise! The couches in the room were very comfortable and they have a massive DVD library to borrow from, which was neat for our kids to see how 'old people' watch movies. Breakfast/coffee in the morning does not start until 8AM and there is only one small urn of coffee, which became quite clogged as the rush of people tried to get their morning coffee. Would be great if there if there 2 urns of coffee and if the coffee portion of breakfast started a bit earlier. Would recommend!

Nothing fancy which was just what we were looking for. Cabin was a good size for our family of 4, location was wonderful right on a big sandy beach. The motel had everything we needed with kind and attentive staff, we appreciated the quiet family feel.

Gorgeous view. The shower was hard to operate even with instructions. The room was well kept. The bed was just a little to sift if you prefer a firm matrress i would verify if thst us an option in some rooms. Overall high marks.

Oceanfront motel with balcony and miles of beach to explore. Older property but updated with new flooring, beds, furniture and paint. Indoor pool and hot tub. Nice continental breakfast. Our suite had a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces (electric) and 2 TVs, 2 sofas. Office offered free DVDs, books and games to borrow. Only 1.5 miles to Yachets. Will definitely stay here again! My only suggestion is for them to invest in a memory foam topper for the king bed, it was a bit too firm for me.

The staff was wonderful and took care of our requests quickly and efficiently. The view of the beach from our room was exceptional. We had our own little balcony to watch the sunset. The beach has very easy to access, and we enjoyed many walks there. We had a few things we didn't like about our accommodations: First, the beds. We had two rooms with 6 travelers. Two of our beds were very squeaky, one was so bad the staff had to come and try to adjust it to get it quiet enough to sleep on. The second was there were no dressers in the rooms. We had to live out of our suitcases. Not an ideal situation for 4 people in a room! There is space enough in the room for one, they just don't have any. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and I would recommend it to others wanting a pleasant, well-situated place to stay. They have many other wonderful attributes as well.

Although the place isn't much to look at on the outside, I was very pleasantly surprised when I entered my room, #39, to find it freshly & very tastefully decorated in a safari theme. My only slight dissatisfaction is that I found the sheets a bit scratchy & the pillows too firm, but that's just my preferences. The kitchenette served its' purpose well, and the ocean view was spectacular. Easiest beach access I have found after staying at 20+ hotels/motels on the Coast!! I will definitely stay here at the Silver Surf Motel again.
