This experience taught me to scrutinize the number of reviews and not rely solely on them, especially when a place claims to have an exceptional rating. I felt misled by the hotel description, which did not match reality, and by the claim that breakfast was included, used to attract guests. The establishment resembles more of an apartment or motel with low-quality furniture, utilities, and poor maintenance. Soundproofing is nonexistent; I could hear noises from the upstairs room as well as stray dogs outside. The front desk staff was rude and unwelcoming, despite his insincere attempts to seem friendly. The maintenance staff and other employees displayed blatant rudeness, which greatly disappointed me. The furniture emitted a strong odor, making me worried about it lingering on my clothes after departure. If better service is available in Abha, I would gladly pay extra. The location and parking situation are chaotic. My positive experience at Namas with the Green Hills Hotel, which costs half as much, stands in stark contrast to this.
