Nestled in the Poconos, just 3 miles off exit 87 of the PA turnpike, you can unplug and enjoy nature’s peace and quiet yet enjoy all the nearest attractions! The house is located just minutes from Lake Harmony, Jack Frost & Big Boulder. The community has plenty to offer for summer activities with close access to its own large beautiful lake Towamensing which also has a pool and a beach!

This was our second stay, and we've been happy with everything both times. It was warmer this year so we got to spend a day at the lake with the kids, they had a blast. The water is so clear, and the beach was clean and not crowded. We also did some short, kid-friendly hikes in Hickory Run: Boulder Field and Hawk Falls. This is a great place for families.

The house was great. The kids had fun with all the games and hot tub. The adults had fun with the hot tub. The house was beautiful. The community is fantastic. I would love to cone back next year. The kids didnt want to leave.

Fantastic Family Getaway

The Chalet is exactly as advertised and more! The hosts thought of everything a family would need from a fully-stocked kitchen to luxurious towel sets for all guests. The kids enjoyed the games, going to the pool and lake while also exploring other local trails and attractions. Thanks, Chris & Angela, for being so responsive and providing us with a great home away from home!

This was the perfect house for our family celebration. Large enough for fun game nights and family dinners. We enjoyed a fun day in nearby Jim Thorpe. And especially enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a chilly day outside.

We loved our stay. My husband and I loved our private master room and bathroom upstairs. The Floorplan was perfect so kids could hand in basement which was very well-appointed. They played pool and basketball down there and felt like they had their own getaway. Hot tub was wond. Our family really enjoyed this home! Everything was as expected and the house offers such a warm feel to it. The basement was perfect for our teen who loves playing basketball along with board games. This home is the perfect getaway and our family loves it so much that we will likely book again in the summer months.

the home was comfortable and beautifully decorated, very simple with plenty of room to easily store our belongings. kitchen was fully stocked with coffee maker, microwave and plenty of dinnerware and pots and pans. would stay here again....location is excellent and very peaceful and quiet.

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed

Staying at different BnB and VRBO properties for the better part of the last 10 years this is by far one of the best. From the layout of home to above and beyond amenities (hot tub /jacuzzi TVs in every room with cable + streaming ) to the little things like a built in child guard on the top of the deck steps.truly a lovely home and look forward to coming back next year!

Jim Thorpe area trip

Great house and a great neighborhood. The house was super clean and the amenities are great. Plenty of smart TVs. Very nice hottub and grilles. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. We did a few hikes at Lehigh Gorge and Hickory State Parks. These parks were within a very short drive of the house. We took the scenic train ride from Jim Thorpe. Highly recommended And biked the D&L Trail- outstanding.

Great for Families

Even though we hit a cold week in August, there was plenty to do. Hiking in Hickory Run State Park and a train ride in Jim Thorpe were both hits with the kids. The house was clean and cozy, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

It rained nearly the entire stay BUT the game rooms in lower level, whole house Sonos, and hot tub kept us happy! The house was immaculate and had everything (including the things we forgot). A great property and location.

Mountain Winter Getaway

Excellent. Home was so clean (one of the cleanest we've ever had) and great accomodations. 2 families of 4 fit perfect. Kids had a great time in the game room and nice big kitchen table for board games together. Game room has nice pool table, basketball game and video football plus fun board games. Host was prompt for any questions we had. Love this place and would definitely want to come back.
