Lake Lodge

Welcome to Lake Lodge. A Best Pocono Escapes property. Our house comes with everything you need to escape to the mountains. Inside we have a pool table, air hockey, down stairs fridge and 2 living rooms both with fireplaces. A modern kitchen goes with the 3 bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs has the kids zone bedroom and game rooms. Outside has a hot tub, fire pit and built in corn hole area. The front of the house has the deck with a grill and tables for additional outdoor living. The lake is a short ten min walk away!
A Best Pocono Escapes property. Cut out of the trees is Lake Lodge. Come watch the deer that sleep on our property. Towamensing Trail community is a true mountain lake community just minutes from Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski Resorts. We have a private beach and pool that overlooks the lake. The Pocono Mountains has so much to offer: indoor water parks, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, kayaking, water skiing, snow skiing, snow boarding and snow tubing. We are pet friendly. Escape to nature!!!

Inside:
As you enter the Lodge from the lower level slider you are welcomed with one of the two living rooms with stone fireplace. Find your way back to the pool room and you will find the kids bunk room with 6 beds to choose from. Just off of the pool room is the back door that leads to the hot tub, fire pit and corn hole zone. Head upstairs to the main living room that has an open concept with the kitchen and dining area that are warmed by another stone fireplace. Follow the hallway to the master king bedroom with en suite. Next to that is the 3rd & 4th bedrooms with a queen &full size beds. Enough room to host 3 small families or a group of 12.

We stayed at this home with a group of adults and kids for a winter weekend. The location was great—close to ski resorts, stores, and restaurants—and the check-in process was smooth. The owner was responsive, and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. The fireplaces added a nice touch, and the basement gave the kids space to spread out.That said, we did experience a few comfort and maintenance issues that impacted our stay. While none were deal-breakers, they’re worth noting. With a bit of added attention to guest readiness and winter comfort, this could be a great rental. We appreciated the communication and hospitality and hope this feedback is helpful for future stays.

Cute place. Good location. Had a great time. 20 minute walk to beautiful lake/beach.Just a few glitches: living room propane fireplace hard to light/no instructions Outdoor propane fire pit had loose wire & had to be lit manually. Downstairs sleeping area chilly. No downstairs thermostat control.Could have used Wine glasses & dish towels in kitchen.But overall cozy and nice Mountain house and enjoyed our stay.

Winter Break Escape

We had a wonderful stay at Deer Trail, 3 small families fit perfectly. Kids loved the downstairs bunk room and game area. We were able to spend two days skiing at Jack Frost and Big Boulder. We also took the kids to Camelback to play at the arcade. Stow was a great host, communication was easy and we are thankful he opened his home to us.
