Comfort Suites Albuquerque/North Journal Center was CLOSED! I arrived around 5:30pm on Monday, November 24 for my stay and the doors were locked with only a note on the door about arriving after 10pm and who to call. I called and they informed me that they had a fire 2 weeks prior and are rebooking all stays across the street at the Hilton Homewood. So I went there, that hotel was fine. But why was I allowed to book a hotel that wasn't actively open and with no communication before arriving about the fire and closure. Bizarre! across rhe street

Could not use my card to unlock the door. No maintenance to fix my lock all weekend. Finally was moved to another room weekend was almost over. The pool was not working for my grand children to enjoy them selves

We stayed in a newly renovated room- the tiling around bathtub was poorly done. We loved the decoration and furniture in the room Breakfast was one of the best we have had. Lots of choice. Staff person over seeing the breakfast couldn’t do enough to help us. She was very welcoming.

Our floor was recently remodeled, but I am not sure whether they were aware of a possible roof leak in room 304, at the east wall, right corner of the room. It looks like it has made the wallpaper run, and when you see things like that, you do worry about potential mold. I would stay again; the price was reasonable. I have a feeling we only got this price because of renovations, but I hope they try to stay somewhat close to that price. Waffles make or something blew the fusses in the food area, and they would prefer frozen chopped potatoes instead of saggy hash brown patties. The staff were very friendly

Room is fine! Nothing fancy does job. Staff at check in great. Breakfast was where the failed. Only one lady. All food out and we were not there right at closing. All tables full of people waiting on food. She was changing the tv channel. One lady to cook for whole hotel not smart.

It was a good stay great staff it has a bit of a smell but it may be due to being an older building. The only issue I have is I received a call day of to be told we were overbooked so our 2 bed stay became 1.

Breakfast was good, but, wasn't stocked in a very timely manner. Staff seemed more preoccupied with their phones and balloons. Room seemed very overpriced in comparison with amenities and condition of room. It was probably priced this way in concert with the Balloon Festival that was going on.

I went to Albuquerque for a family event and i always love staying here. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean and very comfortable. I do not always use the gym but when i do im always satisfied with the cleanliness of it. I feel like my overall stay is always amazing.

The entry way smells like vomit. My sister in law found a roach in her bathroom. The toilet in our initial room wouldn’t flush so we were moved to a different room. The bolt lock on my sister in law’s initial room wouldn’t unlock so her door wouldn’t shut so they were moved to a different room. The staff however are very friendly and very helpful.

It’s a mess under renovation

This hotel is being renovated. It is a mess. The breakfast was not good The eggs tasted like plastic and all of the bread products were dried out . It would have been nice to know that they are being renovated and in a big mess before we booked it. Hopefully they can get it put back together and serve a edible breakfast
