Spacious room with a king bed. Large hotel, which was very busy, yet not too noisy. Pool areas were over run with kids, but found some space to swim. Decent hotel, but we had issues with our reservation.
We don't know who to blame.
We had changed our reservation to accommodate three people instead of two in April, but the hotel evidently did not receive that change. They stated Expedia would need to deal with it. (Luckily we found this out a few days before we arrived.) My husband spent 2 hours on the phone with Expedia, and was hung up on 3 times.
We had a confirmation email from Expedia which stated we had been changed from a king room to a room with two double beds, but Expedia would not acknowledge that and deal with the hotel.
Obviously, someone at Expedia dropped the ball, yet we were going to get stuck with an extra $125.00 for another room. It was not our fault. Why should we have to pay for it? We were not going to that. Our nephew ended up sleeping on a couch somewhere. Not ideal.
We were, and are, very disappointed with Expedia, with whom I have been doing business with for years. I'll start looking elsewhere in the future.
