TÀmÀ romanttinen itsepalveluperiaatteella huvila perustuu 15 minuutin pÀÀssÀ Algheron lentokentÀlle ja vain 5 km pÀÀssÀ lÀhimmÀstÀ rannasta. Vanhankaupungin Alghero on yksi kauneimmista vanha aidattuja kaupungeissa Sardegna. Rannat ovat vain 5 km pÀÀssÀ tÀstÀ huvilasta unelmista.

Uusi Uima-allas rakennettiin huhtikuussa 2017.

Puutarha on noin 2500 neliömetriÀ ja erittÀin hyvin ja eristÀytynyt. LÀhin ruokakauppa on vain 2 km pÀÀssÀ ja kaikki tÀrkeimmÀt ravintolat myyvÀt paikallisesti pyydettyÀ kalaa ovat Algheron.

Ryanair lentÀÀ Alghero ympÀri vuoden useita kansainvÀlisiÀ lentokenttiÀ. Suosittelemme vuokraamalla auton Hertz.

Alueen nykypÀivÀn Alghero on ratkaistu vuodesta esihistoriallisia kertaa. Ns Ozieri kulttuuri oli lÀsnÀ tÀÀllÀ 4. vuosituhannella eKr kun Nuraghe sivilisaatio oli lÀsnÀ alueella noin 1500 eKr, kuten jÀlkiÀ foinikialaisten rakennusten on todettu ole kaukana kaupungista.

Koska sen strateginen sijainti VÀlimerellÀ, Alghero rakennettiin noin linnoitettu satama, perustettiin noin 1102 genovalainen Doria perheen. Doria sulkea sitÀ vuosisatoja, lukuun ottamatta lyhyen ajan vallan alla Pisa (1283-1284). Vuonna 1353 se on kuvattu Aragonian nojalla Bernardo de Cabrera; vuonna 1372 jÀlkeen useita kapinoita, alkuperÀisvÀestön Sardinian vÀestö karkotettiin, [1] ja Alghero voisi myöhemmin kasvaa ansiosta saapumista katalaani siirtolaiset. Vuoden alussa 16-luvulla Alghero sai tilan Kuninkaan kaupunki (Ciutat de l'Alguer) ja kehitetÀÀn taloudellisesti.

Catalano-Aragonian seurasi Espanjan Habsburgien, jonka valta, joka pÀÀttyy vuonna 1702, toi tyylikÀs eleganssia kaupunkiin. Vuonna 1720 Alghero ja Sardinia luovutettiin Piemonten perustuu Savoijin. Noin 1750 laaja kanava kaivettiin parantaa puolustusasemiin niemimaalla. Vuonna 1821 nÀlÀnhÀtÀ johti kapinaan vÀestöstÀ, joka oli verisesti tukahdutti. Toisen maailmansodan aikana (1943) Alghero pommitettiin, ja sen historiallinen keskusta kÀrsi raskaita vahinkoja. LÀsnÀolo malarian maaseudulla lopulta voittaa 1950-luvulla.

Die Villa war perfekt fĂŒr unsere BedĂŒrfnisse. Der Pool hat insbesondere den Kindern viel Spaß gemacht. Die Lage in der NĂ€he von Alghero war sehr gut fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die Umgebung geeignet Einzig die Aufteilung der Schlafmöglichkeit hĂ€tte etwas besser sein können. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!

Amazing private and peaceful stay - beautiful Sardinia!

We had a great few nights here as a couple. It would easily have accommodated another couple or family. Beautiful grounds and very friendly and warm hosts. We loved this part of Sardinia and the villla was a great location for heading into town or taking a drive to several areas. Also great for just relaxing one day by the pool! The overall experience was like a cozy summer cottage and we would recommend to anyone who appreciates that rustic charm. Thank you Matt, Lizzie and Giulio!

Rating: Exterior Pool & Garden: 5/5 Outside Dining & BBQ: 3/5 Interior Living & Kitchen: 3/5 Bedrooms: 3/5 (with 4 persons, 2/5 with 6+ persons) Accessability: 2/5 (not suited for the disabled) Pros: Very nice exterior of the house, big garden surrounded by hedges Nice big clean pool Julio the property caretaker is really friendly and helpfull and keeps the grounds in a great condition All windows had mosquito covers so you could leave the windows open The location is great being within 5min of supermarkets and 10mins of the Algero old town Beds are comfortable House interior was clean and tidy Cons: Not suitable for disable persons, far to many steps with no guide rails The main bedroom is open with the stairs leading right though it, i.e. you have to go though the bedroom to get from the other bedroom to the kitchen/living room area There is no door from the kitchen to the upstairs bedroom so don't cook anything smelly Not sure how the house is to sleep 8 people, at least not comfprotably. Living room area is suited for 5 people at a squeeze not 8, 1x 2 seater + 1x 3 seater sofa No satilite TV, you can only cast to the TV and watch what DVD are available in the house There is only 1 main double bed bedroom (a touch misleading from the online photos) If sleeping 6 people the hallway upstairs tuns into a bedroom, beware there is very little privacy to be had in the house The BBQ are is essentially just a big stone pit, takes very long to get any reasonable heat into it

Villa Gaskin: Your Private Getaway in Sardegna

We recently stayed at Villa Gaskin, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa is available for holiday rentals year-round, accommodating up to 6 to 8 guests. Here’s what we loved: Stunning Pool Area: The private pool area was nothing short of paradise. Crystal-clear waters, comfortable sunbeds, and lush surroundings made it a perfect spot to unwind. Well-Equipped Facilities: From Wi-Fi (a rare find!) to towels, utensils, and even Netflix, Villa Gaskin had everything we needed. The barbecue and covered seating area near the pool were delightful. Idyllic Location: Although it feels like you’re deep in the countryside, the villa is just a 5-minute drive from Alghero. Pro tip: Get directions from the owner to avoid any navigation hiccups. Overall, Villa Gaskin felt like a home away from home. Successful Auction Bid!

We had a great week - the outside area is perfect and was clean and tidy. Pool was glorious and again very clean. The 'caretaker' was very responsive and extremely helpful for when we needed taxis or for any questions we had. Possibly better for a family, not great sleeping arrangements for 3 grown up couples! Lovely and quiet and away from the busy nearby town but not too far away for lovely eateries and shopping! Would love to come back

Le paradis en octobre

Quelques jours avant notre arrivĂ©e, j'ai contactĂ© Giulio, une merveilleuse personne, serviable, sympathique, pleine d'humour... Une fous sur l'Ăźle, nous avons pu rejoindre la villa sans problĂšmes. Cette villa est superbe pour 4 personnes, immense jardin, piscine parfaite, intĂšrieur Ă©quipĂ© comme il se doit... Et puis l'emplacement est aussi parfait. Nous avons passĂ© 2 semaines de parfait bonheur dans un endroit idyllique. Pour faire court: le paradis en octobre. Merci Matthew, merci Giulio 😘😘😘

Best place to stay in Alghero

We had just two fantastic weeks at this lovely place which is really a small paradise. The house and the garden are amazing and much better than the pictures on the internet. The garden is huge and our dog loved it playing araound. There are many other dogs and he even made friend with one. The pool is huge and we all could use it at any time we wanted, even in the night because of the light. There is also regular cleaning of the pool by Giulio who is also available at any time you need him. We have been 4-5 people at this place and the space in the house has been enough. We all would stay again at this place and hope that many other people can enjoy it.

Stunning Villa & Amazing Pool Area

We went for 2 weeks and could have stayed more. only went to beach twice as the pool area here was so beautiful who needs the Sea!! Facilities are excellent and well equiped, will defo come back next year. overal fantastic value for money. it was a quiet out of the way haven, loved every minute.

We wanted a break to have peace out of the town. this was perfect yet only a 10 min drive back into the stunning Alghero port town. Villa had all the amenities you need and of course a pool. will definitely be booking again next year. Thanks Matt.

Tolle Villa auf Sardinien

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der Villa Gaskin. Der Buchungsvorgang war prima. Wir erhielten sofort alle nötigen Informationen. Vor Ort wartete Giulio schon mit den SchlĂŒsseln und hat uns alles Wesentliche erlĂ€utert. Giulio war auch wĂ€hrend unserer Aufenthaltszeit unser Ansprechpartner und hat uns zudem tolle Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge, StrĂ€nde und Restaurants gegeben. Die Ausstattung entsprach unseren Erwartungen komplett. Zum ersten Mal seit vielen Jahren haben wir nichts vermisst. Auch die Ausstattung der KĂŒche war hervorragend. Die Anlage selbst ist wunderschön. Der Poolbereich mit angeschlossener Terrasse und Außengrill bot die Möglichkeit, auch die sehr heißen Tage in toller AtmosphĂ€re zu verbringen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr schönes Anwesen. Toller Pool.

Ein schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage und dennoch sind viele StrĂ€nde, SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten und vor allem Alghero schnell erreichbar. Tolles Anwesen mit Garten, Pool und Terrasse. Hervorragend verwaltet vor Ort. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Splendide

Tout Ă©tait parfait, la propriĂ©tĂ© est vraiment trĂšs jolie et il y a une trĂšs grande terrasse ombragĂ©e au bord de la piscine, ce qui est vraiment trĂšs apprĂ©ciable en Ă©tĂ©. La maison est entourĂ©e d’un trĂšs beau jardin. Elle se situe dans la campagne et l’endroit est trĂšs calme. Alghero est trĂšs proche, Ă  quelques minutes de voiture. La maison est spacieuse, trĂšs propre et il y a 2 salles de bain, un plus 😊. Les responsables de la maison nous ont trĂšs bien accueillis et sont disponibles au cas de besoin. Nous avons passĂ© une magnifique semaine et c’est trĂšs volontiers que nous y reviendrions.

House with nice swimmingpool

The house is located outside Alghero and has a large garden with a modern and clean swimmingpool.. The house fits well for a 6 person family with 3 sleeping rooms. If you don't mind to pick the car, it takes around 15 minutes drive to visit Alghero. For those that wants to sit at home all day, one can watch television as there is a big screen in the living room. The set up is a little bit strange as the shower is nect to the living room / kitchen and the open kitchen is rather small. Further, when coming from the swimming pool you need to go the other side of the house to enter the house. Further, two pieces of canvas have been put in the garden which limits your view on eg the swimming pool. All in all we enjoyed the stay.. Many thanks

Comfortable villa

Very clean and comfortable. The gardens are large, green and lovely and the pool very nice during the hot July days... The house is small, but well equipped: lots of towels and bedding available, complete kitchen. Some maintenance required: upstairs bathroom toilet did not properly work and the reading lights in the bedroom were broken. Giulio, who manages the property, was polite, super helpful and always available. We mentioned these minor needs to him, so I am confident it will be fixed.

Our stay at Villa Gaskin

We have visited Sardinia many times and this is the best villa we have stayed in yet. Everything was provided - no hiring sheets, there was WIFI (not often there yet always promised) towels, enough sunbeds for all 5 of us (very rare) every utensil you could need, DVD's, TV, even netflix (teenagers often need to go off and do their own thing for a while) There is a lot of space, you can spread out in the grounds. The pool area is lovely with barbecue and outside covered seating area. The house itself feels like you are deep in countryside but in fact only 5 minutes drive far from Alghero. Just watch when arriving using Sat Nav, Google maps from the airport. Would recommend getting directions from the owner, it is actually very easy to find. We will be returning to Villa Gaskin if it's available!

Sardinien - sehr ruhig

Die Villa liegt etwas versteckt aber in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung weitab von der nĂ€chsten Hauptstraße. Lediglich die verschiedenen Hunde in der Umgebung unterbrechen die Ruhe (leider teilweise auch in der Nacht). Die Einrichtung der Villa ist geschmackvoll und zweckdienlich - so dass kaum ein Grund zur Klage besteht. Das Haus selber ist relativ klein, fĂŒr 4 Personen allemal ausreichend, aber auch 6 Personen können untergebracht werden. Der Pool ist hinter dem Haus gut gegen Sicht von außen geschĂŒtzt. Auch fĂŒr die abendliche Unterhaltung war gesorgt: es gab keine Probleme mit TV und Internet, auch gab es eine große Auswahl von DVDs. Die Kommunikation mit Liz, der ortsansĂ€ssigen Agentin, war sehr gut. obwohl wir recht frĂŒh anreisten, war Liz schon am Objekt und erwartete uns; auch bei unsere ebenso frĂŒhen Abreise kam sie, um die SchlĂŒssel entgegen zu nehmen. Lediglich die etwas mĂŒhselige MĂŒllentsorgung könnte besser gestaltet werden. Zudem wĂ€re es sinnvoll, nach der Buchung neben der Adresse auch eine detailliertere Anfahrtbeschreibung mitzuteilen, da die Karten mit der angegebenen Hausnummer nichts anfangen konnten. Aber alles in allem ist dieses Objekt sehr empfehlenswert, vor allem fĂŒr Ruhe suchende GĂ€ste.
