Inside the wooden house, you will find a cosy atmosphere with large armchairs and sofas that immediately invite you to linger. Lots of wood and a wood-burning stove for cooler days also create a cosy atmosphere. Whether you lean back with a cup of tea, listen to your favourite music or soak up the warmth and relaxation in the sauna, you can organise your day according to your own rhythm.



As soon as the sun rises, the spacious wooden terrace beckons with a sweeping view over the glistening water, the surrounding mountains and the peaceful countryside. Have breakfast in the open air, make plans for the day and wind down in the evening with a glass of wine.



The island of Årøya will enchant you with its unspoilt nature and spectacular views of the Altafjord. Go for a walk along the coast, go on exciting fishing trips or watch sea eagles, seals and other seabirds. Visit the Alta Museum in Alta, where you can see the prehistoric rock carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With a bit of luck, you will experience one of the most beautiful natural spectacles in the world in winter - the magical glow of the Northern Lights.
