The recreation near The Cabin is unrivaled to any place in Montana. 14 miles (10 minutes) west of the cabin sits Georgetown Lake which is a local and tourist favorite, whether it be for fishing for big native Rainbow trout, or lake sports boating, water skiing, jet skiing etc. you will find yourself living the true summer adventure of Montana. Want a little alone quite time? The Cabin is also surrounded within a couple of miles of Blue Ribbon fishing streams, Mountain Lakes, Rivers, and most importantly Wilderness Mountain Ranges with plenty of public access by foot, bike, and horse back. Want a little excitement… Go no further than 2 minutes to the east and find yourself zipping through the air above the hills and gulches of the Pintler Mountains at the States Best Zip Line Adventure… Do You indulge in Golf? You guessed it! 10 minutes to the east is home to the Old Works world famous Jack Nicholas Golf Course!
Not coming to the area for summer recreation??? 18 miles (20 minute drive) west, is the home of the best kept secret Ski Resort in Montana! Discovery Ski Basin is where you can ski all that Montana has to offer! Whether it is your first time and in need of lessons, or if you are in need a little “Steep and Deep” You can find it here, from Cliff Dropping to Double Black Diamonds. No lines to wait in to get back to the top…. Are you looking for a bit of loud winter fun? Then guess what, The Cabin is surrounded by some of the best sledding (Snow Machine) areas in the state! Want to just keep it close to home for the day? Then just head out the front door and treat yourself and family/friends to a little tobogganing down your own private hill. Need a little quite Winter fun? Well you have guessed it! You Are Covered! Georgetown Lake is where we locals go and drill a hole through the ice and catch Konkani Salmon and Rainbow Trout in a little sport called ice fishing! Need to warm up after a day of winter fun? As you fire up your little pellet stove in The Cabin, just go out your back door where sits your private infrared relaxing sauna that you have 100% access to during your stay. Looking to soak in a world famous Hot Springs? 15 miles to the East Sits Fairmont Hot Springs! Nothing can sooth your cold bones, and sore muscles like natures mineral filled gift of a Montana hot springs. Take Kids Too! Water slides and Pools!
