Villa Galania

Passing a small copse of Holm Oak trees where a hammock has been slung and around the corner of the villa, the view of mountains dotted with villages unfolds in all its magnificence. The pale pastel rose facade of the villa and beautiful pool at one with the serenely peaceful backdrop of rural Crete and the White Mountains, occasionally still snow topped very early in the season.

Villa Galania has been constructed in an atmospheric period style thanks to the skillful use of simple local materials. Covered balconies and terraces provide shade and respite from the heat of the sun, whilst the villa's stone faced doorways and rough hewn timbered ceilings add an authentic touch of the past. Villa Galania is furnished and equipped to a high standard and the owners really have ticked all the boxes down to the smallest detail.

Outside around the 9m x 4m pool and adjoining children's pool, there's a huge amount of living space including a smart alfresco cover dining area, a lounge area, a table soccer, plus a rusticated covered barbecue complete with Cretan oven and a small fridge for drinks.



Location

Set on a small hill above the village of Armeni and only 800 metres from Armeni village square, Villa Galania is ideally placed to enjoy the rural idyll whilst still being within reasonable walking distance of the choice of tavernas, cafenion and cafe in the village. The sandy beaches of Kalives and Kyani are just 5 minutes drive away.

Villa Galania is well placed for discovering this western side of the island, being a convenient 5 min drive to the junction to the east-west highway and thus an easy 30 min trip into Chania.

Living area - 2 Sofas, Satellite TV (limited channels/news only), and French doors to pool terrace.

Shower room - Shower, wash basin and W.C.



First Floor Villa Galania

Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom - 1 double bed, French doors to covered mountain view balcony. Ensuite bath with shower over, wash basin, W.C. Air Con. unit.

Twin bedroom, ensuite shower room - 2 single beds, French doors to covered mountain view balcony. Ensuite shower, wash basin, W.C and washing machine. Air Con. unit



NOTE: The 5th person can be accommodated on a simple folding bed, suitable for a child up to 10-12 yrs old only.



Housekeeping

Your Villa will be prepared for you on arrival with fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up.

For stays of 7 nights or more - house towels will be changed every 3 - 4 days.

For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen will be changed every 7 days.

Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay.



Parking - Covered parking area beside the house.

As a guest of Villa Galania, you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
