Check-in & check-out very fast and efficient. All staff were friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. Lobby, room, hallways and rooftop cafe were all spotless. One of the things we like about The Flat Iron as compared with other, nearby hotels is how quiet the rooms are. We'll be back.

Beautiful, historic hotel with a friendly front desk staff. We loved having access to downtown Asheville within walking distance. We were disappointed, though, that even with the thermostat set to 72 in our room (401), the vent blew very cool air all night.

Everything was so nice. The room was very clean and the shower was fantastic. I was greeted by the front desk staff and offered a welcome drink. The elevator guy not only took me on the elevator, but showed me around to the rooftop bar and the basement giving me a little history of the place. I thought he was over and above in his service.
