Be careful which unit you stay in. We did not realize (and we should have read other reviews!) that the units were individually owned. The unit we were in had obviously not been updated in over 20 years. Carpet was old, warped and wavy. Fixtures were tired. Caulk was old and cracked. The hotel was not busy as we came midweek after the Columbus Day weekend and I am sure there were other units that were open, but the receptionist decided to give us this old suite. Not sure why but it seems like they should give out the better rooms when available to keep up the good ratings. Maybe they just give out the bad rooms when you don't know better to ask.

Room was well kept and up to date. The kitchen had everting we needed. The bathroom was clean and in good shape. the only thing missing Wass a roll of paper towels.

Very convenient walk to boardwalk and beach. Very convenient to great ice cream store at 8th & Ocean that has sugar free ice cream for we Diabetics. Rooms were clean with plenty of towels.

Enjoyed our stay at Biscayne. Room was clean. Housekeeping refreshed our room while we were out for the day. We didn’t get the chance to try the heated pool. Hotel is not far from the boardwalk. It was nice that there was onsite parking however the spaces are very small.
