We stayed here the past few years with no issues. This year, like always, we booked a room with a separate bedroom. After our second night we happen to look up at the ceiling and saw black mold around the vents. I took pictures and video then called the front desk. We were told someone would be up in less than an hour to take a look. After an hour of no one coming up I called again and was told someone was on their way up now. Another hour passed and no one showed up. I called back a third time telling them I want a new room and was not going to stay in a room with black mold. I Also reminded them that I need a room with a separate bedroom. I was told to come down to the check in desk to get the keys for the new room. After packing up and taking all of our luggage to the check in desk then to our new room, we walk in and the room did NOT have a separate bedroom. I called the front desk and explained the whole situation and was continuously transferred to another person. After another 45 min of back and forth I was told the manager has another room for us. We took out luggage back down to the check in desk to get the key and no one down there had any clue what I was talking about. I kept asking for a manager and about 30 min later I finally spoke to a manager, showed him the pictures of the black mold which he clearly was not interested in seeing, then he gave me a key to our new room. Needless to say we missed over 4 hours of beach time dealing with all of this.
