The hotel is like a little jungle between a big city, with a lot of nature that makes you feel vibrante and at the same time relaxed. Make your reservation with beackfast and dinner included. They have a buffet that is really good. It also has a shuttle that you have to pay for or have the uber app that is really convenient in New Zeland.

The daily breakfast deal saved us having to go out early and find food for our kids. It was a really convenient location for who we were visiting and so close to Butterfly Creek and Mānawa Bay which we were wanting to visit. The outside seems a bit rundown but it's nice inside. I would agree with the carpets in the public places needing a decent clean or to be replaced. Our room had everything we needed for our stay and the staff were lovely.

Good and bad

Stayed with my son for one night. Neglected to take into account the age of the hotel. The bad: showing its age, particularly the hallway carpets and bathroom as things were clearly worn down or old. The room smelled stuffy and stale. The good: the beds were comfortable and the included breakfast was generous with good variety.

Not a good experience

Very disappointed as booked there as had restaurant but did not open as not enough patrons according to bar staff. Bar menu ok but food not up to scratch - very ordinary. Carpets need a good clean. Saw room service dishes left for two days. Curtain hem down not repaired. Would not recommend Holiday Inn to anyone. To top it off our room had a roof leak and the bed was very wet in the morning.

Stayed one night and then came back for two nights with half-board option. Good sound-proof for an airport hotel. Breastfast buffet is great. Lots of options including fresh vegetables and fruits. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Dinner is reasonable. Shuttle bus to airport runs 24×7 and easy to book and catch.

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The food options were absolutely delicious, with a great variety to choose from. I especially appreciated the beautiful outdoor area — it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Overall, a wonderful experience that I’d highly recommend!

It was clean, rooms were neat and tidy with good space. The food we had was yummy. The staff were excellent, although we weren't provided a map to find our room, which was on the other side of the facility and at night it was a little confusing where to park because we had no idea where our room was... Our room was on the bottom floor, it was quite noisey in morning
