Wonderful home in a fantastic location! My best friend and I flew into Austin from OR and PA to spend 3 nights catching up, shopping, & relaxing before my son's big wedding at a nearby country club for the upcoming weekend. I chose this big, lovely home for the 2 of us to have space and easy walks to great stores & restaurants, Whole Foods, and a fabulous e-bike tour that met up less than half a mile away. There were two big issues- first, the hot water heater was not functioning properly such that the downstairs shower had only scalding hot water that you couldn't regulate at all, while in the upstairs shower you could not get hot water without standing there freezing for over 10 minutes of cold water and finally giving up. This happened while trying to space our showers 5 hours or more apart & continued through to the 4th morning we checked out-headed to the Omni Resort to shower properly for all the wedding events! Also, the downstairs bathroom was very dark-we both used the upstairs bathroom to get dressed, do hair & makeup. The major problem was that 3 roof repairmen were allowed to work on the property the 2 full days we were there, loud power sawing, drilling, stomping on the roof right outside the balcony window upstairs when I stepped out of the shower, cutting wood right outside the door - no privacy and not quiet & relaxing at all. We had to talk to the roofers ourselves, not let them cut a hole, asking them to leave at 5 pm, agreeing to let them store tools.
