The room and hotel were ok and in a good location. The room size was small. In particular the bed is to a wall in one side so you can't get in properly and there's no bed side table for your stuff. Limited power outlets to charge things and one sink in middle Of room is unusual. Rest of property and location was ok.

While the hotel itself boasted a trendy aesthetic and clean rooms, several issues detracted from our stay. The pervasive smell of seafood in the hallways was unpleasant. Upon arrival, the front desk agent was unhelpful and short when we requested a non-pet-friendly room due to my husband's allergy, even lecturing me for not requesting it in advance. This initial impression was extremely unwelcoming. Additionally, while the pool area was trendy and appeared fun, the murky water was concerning. Overall, as first-time visitors to Austin, this hotel was disappointing.

The staff was very nice and attentive to my needs. An upgrade option was available due to a room that I booked being unavailable. There was even a drink token given to use at the rooftop restaurant. The hotel and restaurant staff were all very nice and made my stay relaxing.
