It in the middle of nowhere so I can understand why they do not update from the 70/80's. The ceiling was cracked and not sure how clean it can be if nothing has changed since the 80's.
It's an interesting place since it's half in Utah and the other in Nevada. The hotel in Utah and the bar/slot machine in Nevada. I would not go back unless absolutely have nowhere else to go.
This place reminded me to never judge by its cover. Yes, outdated or let’s say very vintage but clean, comfortable bed and bedding with plenty of hot water in the tiny bathroom.
What sold us was its uniqueness, great and friendly service and very good food.
No TV's in any rooms.
No tissue, plastic tumblers, breakfast, coffee maker and outside door light. Not well kept up.
Just borderline clean. If you're desperate, go ahead, because there is nothing else around and they know that. Paid over
$100,and only worth maybe
$40, tops.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The beds were comfortable, the place was clean. No T.V s the only entertainment is gambling. They did also have a pool table and air hockey games in the restaurant/ bar.
Floor uneven towards bathroom. Mattress was beyond worn out. Door knob was hard to lock and unlock. Internet terrible in room. One good comment- towels nice ...and clean. Location was great ,close to Great Basin National Park. Sheets felt good. Rooms are in desperate need of remodel.

The property was very convenient. The bed, however, was insanely uncomfortable. Everything else was great.

This hotel needs a lot of updating. Obviously an older hotel. Have to say the bed was really comfortable. Apparently under new ownership who took all of the TVs out of the rooms. Was supposed to stay for three nights but only stayed for one.

Disliked: Amenities
Very basic. Not much else in the area. Would have appreciated a hairdryer, soap, shampoo in the room. Most places do provide so I normally do not take with me. The few staff were very helpful. Food was good.
The bad: no facial tissue, no bath soap, shampoo, or conditioner, no tv, no ice machine, but, bag ice for sale or a cup of ice at the bar. The good: one stop shop, motel, bar, restaurant, gas station, convenience store, casino. All on the Nevada-Utah state line.

Dated, but it’s very isolated so for the area it was okay. The food wasn’t good tho.
