The hotel is centrally located. Very close to eateries and shopping. Easy walk to buses. Staff were very helpful

Staff is professional and the room is clean. But the room was very warm. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, only in the halls and lobby. The patio door opened up to a nice view but couldn’t keep it open. There are no screens to the door. There are a lot of mosquitos and the grease smell from the restaurants below is a bit much. The halls are very narrow so the noise from other guests passing by carries into the room. We did not sleep well. It is the kind of lodging I’ll never book again.

The people were incredibly nice and helpful!! The receptionist, Stephanie, was very helpful and friendly. She made sure we knew where everything was, she fired up the Sauna, fired up the Fire Pit outside the dining area and made some very good recommendations for dinner locations nearby. The deer out front was a unique welsome! They looked at us and eventually got up and went to a more restful area. The breakfast was incredible. The library was extraordinarily homey and warm. The sitting areas were neatly arranged and convenient. The flowers were well cared for and blooming (what the deer did not eat, LOL). The place was decorated throughout with incredible art displays and good taste. The rooms were very comfortable and well decorated.

Rustic lodge but with everything you need. Views are amazing and front desk was so polite and friendly both at check in and out. Restaurant wasn't very vegetarian friendly so only had breakfast once but the brewery nearby that they suggest was really good too.

Great stay in the heart of Banff! We enjoyed our time at this lodge. The location couldn’t be better – right in the centre of Banff town, just steps away from shops, restaurants, and walking/hiking trails around town. Super convenient! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, which we appreciated. Breakfast was simple but did the job – nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. One thing to note: our room didn’t have air conditioning. Since we stayed in May, it wasn’t a big deal. We had a few warm days, but managed with a fan and open windows. That said, it might get uncomfortable during the peak summer heat. We hadn’t planned on doing laundry, but after some messy hikes, it became necessary. If you think you might need to do the same, bring your own detergent and consider hand washing. The washer and dryer were $4 CAD each per load, and detergent was another $1.50 CAD per load. Tip: Book early – Banff accommodations are pricey and fill up fast! Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The clean rooms, great staff, and unbeatable location made it a great choice.

Our overall stay was wonderful—pretty clean and comfortable accommodations made it enjoyable. I think the price were very reasonable as well. Very nice staff. However, our room faced the back side, where we could hear noise from the dumpster and facing to the back of the kitchen of the neighboring building, which affected the ambiance. The view wasn’t particularly scenic either.
