Treetop Retreat - New Cabin, under 2 miles from Beech Ski

Treetop Retreat is a delightful cabin built in 2024, perched atop scenic Beech Mountain and nestled within a peaceful wooded lot. Designed for comfort and relaxation, this cozy getaway is perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure in the High Country.

The main level welcomes you with a warm and inviting living room, complete with an electric fireplace and a large-screen TV for cozy evenings. Adjacent to the living space, the dining table seats four and offers a lovely view of the back deck. The well-equipped kitchen features granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig coffee maker to start your mornings off right.

The king bedroom on this level offers private access to a full bathroom with granite counters and a tub/shower combination. Conveniently, the bathroom also connects to the entry hallway and includes a laundry closet tucked neatly inside.

Upstairs, the loft adds a charming touch with two twin beds, perfect for accommodating additional guests or creating a playful space for kids.

The lower level is newly completed, offering a queen bedroom and two full bathrooms. The lower level living space features a queen sleeper sofa in addition to a convenient kitchenette .

Step outside onto the main-level deck, where comfortable seating invites you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the wooded surroundings. Whether sipping your morning coffee or sharing stories from the day, this outdoor space is the perfect complement to your mountain escape. Stairs lead down to the grounds where you'll find a fire pit. The lower deck gives a second outdoor space to enjoy.

Within a few minutes of the home, you'll find the renowned Beech Mountain Ski Resort, iconic Fred's Mercantile and Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, the scenic Outback Trail, and so much more to explore and enjoy.

Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee.

Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles and potentially chains are required during winter months for accessing any home on Beech Mountain.
- Parking space for up to 3 vehicles.
- The home has one security camera monitoring the driveway.
- Guests returning to Treetop Retreat may receive a discount of 5% to the room rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

​​​​​​​CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
