The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes

Lovely unique restored house. Each room was different decor. Ours was a Japanese print with Geishas and cats. Lovely hot breakfast served. Comfortable bed, but the bathroom door hinges need oiling as it was really squeaky every time you went into the bathroom at night

The Inn is just a short drive out of Bar Harbor. It's a beautiful old building that is well kept. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts are outstanding and varied! Only thing to watch is if you are on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep and narrow. If you cannot carry your luggage, this might be a problem for you. Otherwise, wonderful stay and wonderful property.

Beautiful Place, Better Staff!

We really enjoyed our two-night stay here at the Cleftstone Inn - in particular, a big shout-out to the staff, Anita, Marina, and Steffen. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Bar Harbor area for restaurants and sightseeing recommendations. Although a short stay for us, we highly recommend staying here if you're going to Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park!
