It’s an old building and it shows. Pipes make noise whenever anyone in the building turns on the water. Not central HVAC; split systems are ok but in a smaller room like mine it just blows right on you, hard to sleep with it on. The room is nicely decorated and cleaning service is great. A small chair would’ve made a big difference in the room I was in, but presumably the owners felt it would take up too much floor space. Breakfast was as advertised; better than average coffee. Compared to other places in Bar Harbor this is similar to other Inns in the same price range. So it’s fine. If you want modernity in this town, you will have to pay a lot for it.

Nice area. Very good property. Breakfast was average ( store bought muffins and yogurts) but property was cost and very clean. Rooms were big and very nice. Number rating? I would say 7.5 out of ten

Disappointing Stay at Queen Anne's Revenge, Bar Harbor We recently stayed at Queen Anne's Revenge and, unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. While the exterior has charming curb appeal and the location is convenient, the interior tells a very different story. The lobby and common areas are decorated with what looked like hastily assembled Amazon furniture—mostly uncomfortable, awkwardly styled, and giving off more of a "warfare-chic" vibe than cozy coastal B&B. The overall aesthetic felt rushed—like a DIY project that didn’t quite land, with sloppy paintwork and lackluster attention to detail. Our room was, sadly, even worse. The mattress was an ancient box spring setup—likely from the 1980s—and it felt every bit of it. The springs dug into our backs, leaving us in actual pain the next day. Restful sleep was impossible. The whirlpool tub had missing parts, the ceiling fan didn’t work, and the AC unit refused to turn on, making the room uncomfortably stuffy. To top it off, the hot water stopped working midweek, so I was forced to take an ice-cold shower—not exactly the relaxing getaway I had in mind. Breakfast also left much to be desired. Instead of a warm, homemade meal, we were met with a small spread of store-bought cold muffins, cheap bagels, bruised apples, and old tangerines. Queen Anne’s Revenge has potential, but right now it feels more like a low-effort rental property than a true bed and breakfast.

The service was outstanding, available and eager to address any questions or concern we had. Large two room suite with fireplace and large bathroom. I suggest better pillows, very firm pillows. Otherwise great, walkable, quiet location. Suggest Side Street Cafe is a great place to eat. Reasonable prices, great food and service.

Enjoyed our stay in Bar Harbor. Queen Anne's Revenge was a quaint little room that was perfect for a couple of nights getaway for our 30th anniversary. Just a short walk into town. Highly recommend.

The first night was very nice. But they moved me the second day to another room. The second room was nice inside but it was at the kitchen and was very noisy at 5am. I mentioned it to them when they showed it to me but they had no other room. I checked out at 10 am and didn’t stay the last night because I couldn’t stand the clanging sounds from the kitchen. That room is #2. I am in dispute with them over the situation.

Wonderful property where each room is unique. Our room was in the main house and was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative for me was the breakfast. But I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were a bit cozy but clean. Beds were comfortable. Property was located within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor. They offered a decent variety for breakfast, their blueberry bundt cake was excellent. Parking was a bit tight.

Beautiful room in a lovely hotel. Quiet road but only a 10 min walk into the town. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast snacks were plentiful and the unlimited hot drinks all day were great.
