This place was really nice! Seemed very new and clean. The fresh desserts in the lobby were a nice added touch, as well as the self serve coffee bar! The breakfast was delicious as well!!! I would also say that if you are mostly staying in Bar Harbor for leisure activities, this is the perfect spot because it’s in walking distance for everything!!! great spot:)

Spacious room, walkable to Bar Harbor, easy parking, excellent breakfast. Encourage management to be a bit more flexible on special requests, particularly as the hotel is new and building its reputation (e.g. pillows were hard and high, with no offered alternatives).

The place was fine, that is really the issue. For the price decor should have been more consistent, staff could have been more helpful, etc., breakfast and coffee, meh. I suppose in Bar Harbor they are going to sell out regardless. There’s no motivation to step it up. Bed was great accordingly to partner. That’s something.

The room was so clean and the staff was so so nice. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff. The complimentary food also exceeded my expectations as it was SO good. Way better than food I actually paid for in Bar Harbor. It was about a 7 minute walk down there and was actually really homey. The whole place, including the room, smelled good and the tea time pastries were delicious. Would highly recommend this place!

Great hotel!

Got one night at the last minute for a Wednesday night stay at a great rate (included breakfast and parking). The room I got was larger than a suite at most hotels and everything was new, probably because the hotel is less than a year old. What that means is the staff go out of their way to make your stay easy. Probably the best overall attitude I’ve experienced in a long time. Hotel is just far enough away from the tourist district to be quiet, while still being only a 5m walk there. I wish I’d tried the hotel restaurant for dinners after what I had for breakfast, but can’t be clairvoyant.

New boutique hotel in the middle of Bar Harbor within walking distance of everything the village offers. Fantastic included breakfast cooked to order by an experienced chef. Rooms are extremely clean!

Excellent choice Hotel

This is a brand new hotel that just opened November 2024 . This place is immaculately clean, our room was very spacious, he could easily accommodate a wheelchair. There is a tub with shower and safety bar in the bathroom along with heated floor floors for Comfort. The room we stayed in had a large king size bed with refrigerator and microwave and I have practitioner wall with another room with a twin bed TV stand and lamp, which was equally spacious. This room would be perfect for a small family as there is lots room to add a cot if needed and not feel cramped at all. When we walked in, we were greeted with muffins, fresh baked cookies, tea, and coffee. Staff was very friendly upon arrival gave us all the information we needed, including informing us. That breakfast was included from 7 to 10 AM and it is not your average free breakfast. We had blueberry stuffed French toast, frittata, they had scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, bacon, homefries, muffins, coffee, tea, and juice. Every plate was also served with fresh fruit, watermelon, cantaloupe, melon, blueberries, and strawberries. We also had dinner here last night. It was mainly Italian and was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. I will tell you this is Hotel is moderately priced, with the breakfast included and being only two blocks from downtown the harbor area with all the shops. This is the perfect location for families with children or for couples looking for a getaway. And want to have a nice weekend away.

I wanted to love this property-great location, new, reasonably priced, includes breakfast and it has a parking garage! It seems to still be in its ‘shake down’ phase as a new hotel…service was spotty and breakfast was trying hard to be creative but wasn’t great. Basic room and amenities. Poor choice for hall and elevator carpeting - although only months old, its light color showed all the dirt and stains… Pathmaker tries hard and I’ll try them again in the future, once their systems are in place.

Amazing!

It was our first time in Bar Harbor so we didn't know what to expect. The Pathmaker Hotel was amazing: great location, nice rooms, good breakfast, we were very happy. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay in Bar Harbor.

AMAZING STAY!

Our stay was AMAZING! The staff was friendly and personable. There was plenty of off street parking which is a huge plus for downtown Bar Harbor. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the mini size local hand soap that was in the bathroom. The included sit down breakfast was so delicious! It was decent portions, great selection and just on point. Will definitely be staying there again. I just can't say enough positives about this hotel and the staff.
