Wingrove holiday

We were extremely happy with our stay here. The children absolutely loved every minute. The grounds are just perfect for a relaxing break to let the children roam free enjoy being outdoors. The kids loved the indoor pool and spent lots of time here every day. The open fire was amazing during the evenings. We thoroughly recommend a break here especially with children.

We had a fantastic week at Lavayssière, near Auvillar. The accommodation was spacious, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable – especially the beds, which made for a perfect night’s sleep after busy days. The kitchen was well equipped for our group of 18. There was so much to enjoy: tennis, table tennis, both indoor and outdoor pools, and even a lovely woodland walk right on the property. The gîtes were superbly equipped and full of character, and the whole setting was peaceful and surrounded by stunning scenery. Jemma was communicative and helpful both before and during our stay. A truly relaxing and memorable holiday – we can’t wait to return!

Nous avons passé un super séjour pour le Nouvel An dans ce gîte, idéal pour plusieurs familles avec enfants. Les maisons étaient exactement comme décrites : propres, confortables et très bien équipées. L’espace de vie, notamment la cuisine, est extrêmement pratique et agréable à partager au quotidien.La terrasse avec vue est très agréable, même s’il faisait frais à cette période de l’année. La piscine intérieure a clairement été l’un des points forts du séjour : elle a permis à ceux qui le souhaitaient de se détendre, et aux enfants de jouer tranquillement. Le jacuzzi a également offert un excellent espace de relaxation pour les adultes.Le court de tennis, en très bon état, ainsi que la salle de jeux ont ajouté des activités appréciées aussi bien par les enfants que par les adultes. Enfin, la cheminée a été un véritable atout pour partager de chaleureux moments de convivialité.Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte pour un séjour confortable, convivial et parfaitement adapté aux familles.

Une demeure de charme pour un séjour de rêve en famille à 16 personnes malgré la canicule.La demeure principale est très bien conçue et aménagées, isolation parfaite avec murs épais, climatisation efficace et silencieuse, de multiples espaces à s’approprier et une immense pièce de vie cuisine-salle à manger avec terrasses extérieures attenantes pour les moments de vie en commun.Le gîte voisin, d’aménagement récent, a permis à nos jeunes de disposer d’espaces de confort et de liberté.Les piscines intérieure et extérieure ainsi que le tennis sont en parfait état et ont été très appréciés.Les relations avec la propriétaire ont été fluides et efficaces.En résumé, d’excellents souvenirs de ces vacances en famille

Nice stay in Bardigues!

We recently stayed at this vacation house and had an overall good experience. The location was convenient and beautiful. The children loved the garden with the small pond and the tennis court. There were a few things that could have made our stay more comfortable. The cleanliness was below expectation, especially the kitchen area could have used a more thorough cleaning before our arrival. The bbq could no longer be used, the owner did take appropriate action to replace the bbq during our stay.

Excellent sejour

Maison parfaite à réserver pour plusieurs familles avec des enfants. L’espace de vie Cuisine est très agréable et extrêmement pratique. La terrasse avec vue est parfaite pour l’apéritif. La grande table dehors nous a permis de dîner tous ensemble chaque jour. La piscine extérieure est toujours au soleil. La piscine intérieure a permis à ceux qui le souhaitaient de faire des longueurs Et aux enfants, de jouer tranquillement.

A stunning holiday house with fabulous views!

Even before we had arrived at the property we were impressed with the professionalism and helpfulness of the owners Jemma and Ronan. We hired the house and both gites for a week with 21 members of our family. The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Both of the swimming pools, the jacuzzi and the tennis court were very well maintained and were enjoyed by all of us. We tended to eat on the lower terrace to make the most of the views of the surrounding countryside. There are so many things enjoy in the grounds that we hardly needed to leave the property but we did enjoy Auvillar and Moissac. I would have no hesitation in recommending this house as a wonderful holiday home.

A wonderful property

A fantastic 2 week stay at Lavayssiere with 4 other families. The house is simply wonderful with everything you could possibly need and so much space that it never felt crowded even with 21 people. The property was very clean and well maintained and is set in a beautiful location. There is lots to do locally from the energetic such as canoeing on the Tarn, cycling on the canal, parcour (climbing) and walking to more relaxing activities such as sightseeing and enjoying the local restaurants but we also spent lots of time lounging by the pool. Would definitely return given the chance and would recommend to anyone seeking a property of this size. Quite simply one of the best holidays we have ever had.

Beautiful property in stunning location

The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained throughout. the Gardens are also lovely and plenty of areas to explore. Pools were extremely clean and the indoor pool bigger than it appears on the photo (ideal for the odd day of rain!). The gites are very spacious and ideal for slightly larger families travelling with a wider group of friends. Highly recommended for groups of friends or (very) large families. Ronan (owner) was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and providing comprehensive information on the property and local area. Also extremely helpful when we were there and needed assistance with language. Thanks

Idyllic Country House

Three generations of our family and close friends stayed for a fortnight in this beautiful house in Bardigues. It is very much a family home and perfect for small people with lots of toys and a trampoline and two pools. We had meals delivered each day from the very lovely local Auberge de Bardigues. The house is ideally situated on the Route of St James and so there are many stunning nearby medieval villages and towns to explore. We received a great deal of helpful advice and assistance from the owners and would certainly consider going again.

Fabulous Property in Beautiful Location

The beautiful and spacious main property accommodated all of us for sociable mealtimes and evenings but the separate gites gave all three families their own space. The pool areas - inside and out - are fabulous. The property is well equipped with everything you need and has been beautifully designed and furnished throughout. Lots to do in the local area and the owners provided comprehensive info on everything from restaurants to supermarkets to local markets and events. First class service in a beautiful property which is perfect for large gatherings of family or friends of all ages. The views from every aspect are gorgeous. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful manoir set in glorious surroundings

We spent a wonderful week with friends at Lavayssiere. The house and gites were very well appointed, with great attention to detail to make guests very comfortable. Both pools were very well enjoyed by both the younger and the older members of our party, including a pool party one night! The tennis court was great and it was brilliant to have plenty of racquets and balls available for use. Roman the owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with comprehensive house and area notes....the high wire event particularly well received but I still have the bruises! Propriété magnifique avec une décoration superbe

Nous avons loué Lavayssière pour une semaine et avons invité un groupe de 18 amis a nous y rejoindre. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. Lavayssière est une propriété magnifique. Une décoration superbe. Les chambres, les salles de bains, le linge de maison, les cuisines, les terrasses. Tout est parfait. Une propriété très bien conçue avec une grande attention sur la décoration de haute gamme avec des détails dans toute la propriété. Comme par exemple du très beau carrelage diffèrent dans les pièces de la maison, des luminaires de qualité, une piscine extérieure et une intérieure superbe. L'emplacement est calme, les vues sont superbes et l'espace en soit même est grand et très agréable. Avec un groupe de 18 adultes nous avions tous notre espace et notre tranquillité. Les alentours de Bardigues offrent beaucoup de lieu a explorer et de très bons restaurants. Les propriétaires du lieu, Ronan et Jemma et la gérante du lieu Celine étaient tous charmants , très professionnels, sympathiques et a l'écoute. Nos amis étaient enchantés et impressionnés par la propriété, nous n'aurions pas pu rêver d'un meilleur endroit pour être ensemble pendant cette semaine magique. Nous envisageons déjà d'y retourner. Un grand merci a Ronan et Jemma.

The most amazing and unforgettable week ever!

We made or first visit to Bardigues from California in late June of 2014 while we were looking for a place that we could stay in with 18 of our friends and have a wedding. We also needed it to be close to a village that had additional hotels and gites for the rest of our wedding guests. After looking at six properties in the South East of France, we came across Lavayssiere...we fell immediately in love with the property and knew right away that this is where we needed to get married. Although not marketed as a wedding destination, if you can plan the (smallish) wedding with a local wedding planner (we found one in Toulouse) it is perfect. Ronan and Jemma are amazing to deal with as the proprietors, very professional and lovely people. Celine, the house manager was wonderful as well. The property is stunning, gorgeous views and tons of property to explore. The rooms, bathrooms, linens, kitchens were all perfect...wonderful designs, gorgeous tile throughout, it really is a dream home. Even with 20 people staying on the property, it never felt like a crowd because there is so much space throughout this property. The surrounding area of Bardigues is also magical, the local people and food...amazing. All of our guests that stayed with us at Lavayssiere have already asked if we could go back for our five year anniversary! Everyone was thrilled and impressed with the entire week, we could not have asked for a better place to be with our friends and family during that magical week. magnificent family holiday

The house is big and spacious, huge kitchen, huge living-room, many pleasant terraces, excellently maintained. We were 13 adults and 10 children (7 aged under 8) The holiday was a pleasure for everyone. Both swimming pools are great. There are lots of toys for the children, as well as bicycles, scooters, tricycles, play houses, play kitchens which were all star attractions. The tennis court and table-tennis table provided entertainment for children and adults. The woods below the tennis court were an explorer's dream. In fact the children enjoyed Lavayssiere so much that it was difficult to persuade them to leave the place, even for a short time. When we did go further afield we found the village of Auvillar very attractive. And the evening meal at the Auberge de Bardigues was delicious. I would recommend the house as a holiday destination to everyone

Incredibly relaxing and perfect week

This is an amazing house in a lovely part of France. We rented it for a large family get together and it was the perfect mix of luxury and relaxation. All the facilities are 5 star and you could easily not leave the house and never get bored. If you do leave there is a lovely restaurant 15 minutes walk through the woods and lots of nice villages to explore nearby. Thanks so much!

Beautiful house, perfect for a big group

We were a large group, with many adults and children from age one and upwards, and we found that this house suited us brilliantly. The property was beautifully maintained and stylishly done, with lovely common areas both outside and inside. Both pools are lovely, the tennis court was brilliantly maintained and the garden and forest were great for the kids to explore. The house was well stocked with tennis rackets, tennis balls, toys, books, DVDs and games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to other large family groups!

Fabulous house - absolutely perfectly appointed!

We hired this house as part of my husband's 40th birthday celebrations. I couldn't have been happier with our choice! We travel all over the world and have rented many properties in recent years but this surely must be one o the best we've rented so far. The house feels like a "home" rather than a rental property and guests immediately feel comfortable in the property. Our guests were all adults and the combination of bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms was absolutely perfect. Not one guest felt like they had a smaller room than anyone else and no-one had to share bathroom facilities. You couldn't ask for more when sharing with friends for a week! We made great use of the indoor pool and jacuzzi. An absolute hit for everyone in our party. We also played lots of tennis and even those that had never played before picked up a racquet and joined in. The house is in a very beautiful area and the views are stunning. There is brilliant restaurant in the closest village called Auberge De Bardigues. It exceeded all our expectations and the meals were all stunning. This restaurant is a pleasant walk from the house and we were all pleased to burn off our delicious meals on the way back! We ate in this restaurant about 4 times and every meal was perfect and the staff were lovely. The owner of the house was excellent in communicating with me on a regular basis. He even arranged for the pool company to come out and clean the jacuzzi mid week as we were using it so much. Ronan provided us with absolutely excellent customer service. In essence, I could not recommend this house highly enough. It's perfect for all generations. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful house and a great place for the week.

We booked the house for my 40th Birthday and we had 13 people for the start of the week and then 7 for the end of the week, the configuration of the house was great and we could accommodate all our combinations of friends with ease. The house is amazing, the styling is just right and not over the top.... Indoor pool and tennis court are of he highest quality. We had a BBQ almost every evening and it was a real joy to eat outside and relax together with friends. The local town is a short but very hilly walk away and the local restaurant has epic food. I really recommend this house and location to anyone. On another note it was great dealing with the owners who made the rental process very simple and stress free.

Fabulous house and property, idyliic setting

As soon as we arrived at Lavayssière we realised we'd made a great choice. The property and grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the facilities were exactly as described and it provided a wonderful setting for a few days r&r, as well as a great base to explore the region. There are numerous local restaurants and the picturesque town of Auvillars is just a few km away. Thoroughly recommend this property, especially for large family groups as there is something for everyone and all age ranges. We'll be coming again for sure

Everything you could ever want

A magnificent house in a stunning location, Lavayssiere has everything you could want for a fun, relaxing and hassle free holiday. We went as a large group of friends but, equally, the house caters for children so a couple of families could happily stay there together. A tennis court, an indoor AND outdoor pool, rambling walks in the rolling countryside, dinners outside on the spacious balcony - I really couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Un ensemble harmonieux dans un cadre idyllique !

Le manoir offre de belles chambres et une salle de vie spacieuse et très joliment décorée, avec une magnifique cheminée et de belles infrastructures : salle de ping-pong, salle télé, système audio… Les gites offrent des chambres plus petites, mais avec une belle vue, et surtout une grande piscine intérieure chauffée dans une jolie véranda. Nous avons eu quelques problèmes techniques dans la maison, mais l’équipe sur place a été très sympathique et a tout fait pour les résoudre.
