Shelter from the storm

Had to escape no power and freezing temps due to ice storm. The lady at the front desk was the kindest wonderful woman I have ever encountered. She was warm, and welcoming and after having come from a horrible disaster it was appreciated. She got myself, my parents and our little dogs situated as we had the last rooms for the area. The rooms are likely in need of a refresher. Investment in the property would prob be a good idea. It’s quite worn in many places and with animals allowed carpets are a wild choice. But there was a warm clean bed, running hot water and power. To say that it is enough - it’s enough. I would not call it the lap of luxury but it’s a safe and clean place to rest when you are in need of safety.
