This new Bass Lake home can accommodate up to six guests, making it perfect for a small family or a couples' retreat. The living area features a gas fireplace on a large stone mantel, with a couch, a love seat, and a flatscreen TV. The kitchen area provides bar seating for six, as well as new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The back deck overlooks tall cedar and pine trees and has a gas grill for those fun summer barbecues. The primary bedroom has a private bathroom and opens onto the deck.

Beautiful Bass Lake lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The home is near the Pines Village at the lake, which provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away.

Things to know
Boat docks and boat slips are not in the water year-round.
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful home

This home is spacious and great for a small group. Has many kitchen appliances to make it super easy to cook. The back deck has a beautiful view that you can enjoy while eating. We would absolutely come back and stay here again.

Great stay in bass lake!

This property is more beautiful than the photos look! Awesome high ceilings and open living space, bedrooms are huge and each have a private bath. Lovely deck off the back and huge garage if you want somewhere to stash your toys while not on the lake. Huge, well stocked kitchen. We would absolutely stay again!

Communication with the host is very hard in the evenings.We were locked out and couldn’t get anyone for 1 1/2 hours on phone for their customer support number.Fewer towels were provided than guests, had to wait for next day to get those.Never had such experience so far, very disappointed.

Fantastic Home

The layout is the house is perfect for two couples because the rooms are on the opposite side of the home with the kitchen and living room in t between them. Also, the sound barrier from outside was fantastic. Someone in the neighborhood had a house alarm going off, and we didn’t even hear it until we opened the slider to the deck. And the deck has a beautiful view of the lake. Such a pleasure sitting out there in the morning and evenings. Both bathrooms had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner readily available. Plenty of room in the bedrooms to do a workout if you want. The garage was also spacious and parking was easy. It’s rare to have a home wide open to use all parts. We felt very welcome as if we were staying in our own family’s vacation home. Love, love, love this place! So glad we came across it. We plan on making more memories soon!

Cute and comfortable

Great open floor plan, kitchen had all the necessary utensils, pots and dishes needed to cook. It was close to the village where there was a market and restaurant. Home was clean and had up to date amenities. Bed was very comfortable as well! Electric wood fireplace work heated up the great room and we appreciated that they had sleds and chairs to use while staying there. Would come back again!

Wonderful cabin. Beds very comfortable which is not the norm. Having access to the garage a big plus to store coolers, chair, floats, etc. Also having a pantry a big plus, not a lot of cabins have any storage. Pot and pans need improvement. Great deck, nice table and chairs. We’ve been coming to Bass Lake over 40 years and this was one of the nicer cabins we have stayed at. We really appreciate the Murray family for sharing their vacation home with others. Vacasa staff were excellent. Always checking in by email or phone with updates or whether we had a questions or issues. Check in was very easy and convenient.

Perfect home, it was better than described. All the amenities you could ask for, and some you didn’t even know you might need. Very comfortable and cozy. Great deck with lake view, and just minutes walk to Willow Cove and the Pines!! Will definitely book again !
