Although we love dogs, we cannot have them stay at The Oaken House. There is a great place nearby that can accommodate them. Prairie Peak Kennels
Please do not park in the garage. That space is designated for extra gear and the golf cart which you are free to use.
Please charge the golf cart in the garage at the end of each day and do not allow anyone without a driver's license drive the golf cart.

The house was beautiful, everything brand new. The only issue we had were quite a few fruit flies. The owner was very responsive, and I would highly recommend this location.

Beautiful home and very clean! Located close to both Ottertail and Battle Lake for any last minute things. We had a 3 year old with us, so nice to have some toys in the house and for the beach. The beach was a little further than we thought from the house, but love that a golf cart was provided. Only downfall for our family was that it was listed as a 4 bedroom home, but it is only 3 bedroom. The bonus room was not available and we had hoped to use that as an additional sleeping room.

Another great stay

This is our second time staying at this property however this was our first time in the summer months. Jack was very responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful Sandy Beach. The covered porch was amazing to have in the summer to keep out all of the bugs. The property was very private and secluded with a great fire pit, we enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Wedding get away

We stayed at this wonderful home with my immediate family for a wedding nearby. The home was well appointed and had all of the creature comforts one would expect. There were beautiful walking trails on the property for our morning walks! I highly recommend staying at this home!

Winter getaway

We had a great four day stay at Oaken House! Highly recommend. Very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals for 8. Comfortable beds. The home is in a beautiful setting in the woods where we saw deer wander through the yard. Jack was very flexible to accommodate a late check out.

Great stay at the Oaken house!

Right from seeing the property from the outside, you know it's a clean and quiet area that makes it perfect for a family getaway! There's plenty of child friendly dishes and toys for kids of all ages. Plenty of amenities including a infrared sauna and big patio to relax! I also enjoyed that Jack was able to communicate in a timely manner with any question I had! Anybody staying here will have a great time and we can't wait to come back again!
