The host was more than a host, he became a friend. The staff were amazing, the cleaning crew, the grounds crew, (Herman), and the breakfast crew all went above and beyond. We wanted for nothing during our stay, whether we required a car rental or a ride somewhere Lloyd came through.

Royal View is a great option for those looking for suitable accommodations for preparing their own meals. It is a safe location and a short drive away from anywhere in Belize City. The owner is eager to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast options.

Good location

Great location for our stay as we were coming back from San Pedro. Apartment is located just outside Belize City and near airport. We arrived at the ferry port, arranged for a ride with the property manager to the apartment and to the airport the next day. Breakfast was included. I would recommend staying here if you are needing a close by location to Belize City.

As listed, nice space.

Location is on a main highway out of town so some traffic noise and you will need car to get anywhere. Breakfast was included and good. Lots of steep steps for the unit we had.

I liked that the apartment had two bedrooms and two restrooms. However, the place was not very clean, and one of the bedrooms had a bad smell.

The property offered great recommendations for transportation, although they offer shuttle service we were provided several different rates which was quite confusing and frustrating. Overall it was a good stay staff is friendly ELEVATOR does not work so if u have a medical condition I discourage booking …definitely alot of stairs. AC blows cool air which was a blessing in itself. I would book again

A Mixture of Good and Bad

This is a mixed review. Lloyd, the property manager, was very accommodating and helpful and the unit itself was very clean and had everything we needed. But, from the pictures I saw on the website which showed a beautiful view of the nearby water I was expecting to have such a view. We did not, nor was it available. Royal View is a 4 story structure and only the 3rd and 4th floors have a view, but the apartments available were on the 1st and 2nd floors. There is no elevator so we were saved having to walk up multiple flights of stairs. Also this property is right on one of the major highways into Belize City and the truck traffic is heavy and loud. I'm afraid I can't recommend this property unless you're looking for inexpensive accommodations on the road out of town.

Super Nice Place

The apartment is an extremely nice place and virtually brand new. Clean, neat, safe, organized. The staff are exceptionally thoughtful and kind. Lloyd, the manager was really helpful, knowledgeable, and went out of the way to help us with even minor requests. Very happy that we picked this place to stay.

It was an apartment on the ground level, parking was on the premises, it's close to Belize City and nearby attraction. We had a rental car, and this spot was close to all we wanted to do.

I did like how you have to put your order in a day before for a Wonderful Belizean Breakfast. Wonderful Hospitality from the Staff. Someone is always there to assist you in anything you may need. I sure will be staying here again

Very good experience

Really good communication with host and co host before and during stay. Requests or needs addressed promptly. Everything is clean and in good condition. We elected to not rent a car and found the most excellent driver/guide Edgar August to transport us. If you are not getting a car we recomend him highly. We hope to return to this location in future.

" A home away from Home"

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Royal View apartment in Belize with my family. We had convenient appliances, washer dryer stove and refrigerator. The bed rooms had air condition. A beautiful view from the 4th floor. Delicious breakfast which included fresh fruits every day. Location of this apartment was close to major attractions ,Airport and highways. Last but not least the Manager Lloyd was very professional. Pleasant , always with a smile. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to enjoy the beauty of a home away from home. I would not hesitate to go again. I advise to rent a car so you can get around on your own time. While saving a little money on your vacation.
